Tried DTube yesterday!
Felt a little lazy to write something yesterday and so decided to just upload a small clip of my gameplay on the chain. That's when I remember about DTube and oh boy over a year of not visiting this platform A LOT HAS CHANGED and something is also consistent. XD
Anyways a little spoiler alert it ends like this:
I did check on HIVEBLOCKS and saw that my post went through. I also checked my video on DTube and it was also there so I'm not sure what the above image means. For anyone's information though I have 0 DTC at the moment that's most likely why I got the pop-up above. Lol
Weird cause I vaguely remember claiming one a year ago though. As for yesterday, I got a notification to claim my 1.72 DTC.
Tried it but did not get anything. I reckon this notification is from months ago and that the airdrop has already ended that's why I did not get any. Best they could do is clear notifs like this? XD
For what stays consistent on DTube, I'm gonna be honest and say it would be the upload feature. It still takes a lot of time to upload one. I think it took around 20 minutes to upload my video yesterday
And another 20 minutes or so for the 2nd process (At least on my first upload)
I say first upload cause the moment the above process ended, I noticed on the preview video that it was not mine. The video was around 3 hours which I believe was the reason why it took around 20minutes+ to finish the 2nd process above. Weirdly enough though it was not the one I uploaded nor have I seen that video before. (It's not mine so if you are thinking I have accidentally uploaded the wrong video then that video doesn't exist on my drive)
Still I did try to upload the video again which took another 20 minutes but on the 2nd process (the one below) it took less than 3 minutes.
What I probably dislike on the new DTube (I say new cause I have not used this platform after a year) is the tag limitations. Seems like only 1 tag is allowed on their platform now. T_T
I'm probably in the minority here but I also dislike the beneficiary cut rewards like from a year ago, mainly because I know I won't get an upvote from them. Lol
