The Cannibal ~ Front Seat View

Take a back seat... wait... hold up!! Join me in the front seat on a ride that will make your hands sweat with anticipation, The Cannibal. Located at the Lagoon theme park in Farmington, Utah, this 208 foot tall, mostly build and designed In-House roller coaster doesn’t disappoint. With a 116 degree, over vertical drop into a tunnel that will get you speeds around 70 mph, those sweaty palms dry off quickly. 140 foot inverted loop and some cork screw action adds to the pure thrill of this ride. Did I mention you reach g-forces up to 4.2??

There did I get you excited to take on the Cannibal? If not watch this front seat video taken by me with my iPhone X as I sit in the front seat. The camera angle did get off a little at times but not too bad considering I had a Kung-fu grip on my phone so I didn’t lose it. I could only imagine how many pairs of sunglasses, hats, phones, and other things have flung off this ride.

Besides the initial 116 degree drop, my favorite part was how you get to the top. After getting seated and secured in your seat, you slowly head down a dark hallway. Then it’s pitch black and you have no idea what is going on. The ride starts to move vertically then you look up and see the light at the top of the elevator. That is where the video starts.

This isn’t the only thrilling roller coaster at Lagoon but it has to be my favorite. I hadn’t been to Lagoon for close to 30 years!! I quickly realized what I had been missing all those years. I had to take on my nemesis The Colossus right away. That was the best ride in the park the last time I was there. The Roller Coaster (85 years old), The Wicked, The Samurai, The Catapult and many many more will keep you busy all day long!! Off in the distance you can see they are constructing another roller coaster that just might give The Cannibal a run for its money. It looks to be quite the monster, it’s Huuuuuge!!

I hope you enjoy the video and it doesn’t make you too dizzy...
