Grupo estable en clases / asistencia primaria

Buenas noches mis apreciados amigos, bendiciones para todos, es un momento apropiado para contarles una vivencia que tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar el día de hoy en la mañana durante mi hora de grupo estable en el liceo, en mi querido Caripito.

Good evening my dear friends, blessings to all, it is an appropriate time to tell you an experience that I had the opportunity to enjoy this morning during my hour of stable group in high school, in my beloved Caripito.

Los grupos estables son horas de formación académica extra cátedra, es decir, son como una especie de curso que se imparten durante el lapso o como se le dice ahora, momento pedagógico en los cuales los facilitadores son los profesores, en estos se debe impartir una clase de algo que no esté relacionada con la asignatura como tal que enseñe el profesor. En el liceo donde laboro, están dictando varios tipos de grupos estables, entre los cuales esta, electricidad, mecánica, repostería, cocina tradicional, medicina botánica, productos de limpieza, costura, peluquería, maquillaje, pintura, canto, informática, danza y atención primaria, este último es dictado por este servidor.

The stable groups are hours of extra-curricular academic training, that is, they are like a kind of course that are taught during the period or as it is called now, pedagogical moment in which the facilitators are the teachers, in which they must teach a class of something that is not related to the subject as such that the teacher teaches. In the high school where I work, they are dictating several types of stable groups, among which are electricity, mechanics, baking, traditional cooking, botanical medicine, cleaning products, sewing, hairdressing, makeup, painting, singing, computers, dance and primary care, the latter is dictated by this server.

Esto se lleva acabo los días viernes de cada semana, en mi curso se habían inscrito 19 estudiantes de tercer año, el requerimiento es de 25 estudiantes por aula, les confieso que estaba un poco triste puesto no había mucho interés por parte de los estudiantes de inscribirse, por lo general las áreas de concentración están en deporte, pintura, maquillaje y canto, las otras son como una especie de complemento.

This takes place on Fridays of each week, in my course 19 third year students had enrolled, the requirement is 25 students per classroom, I confess that I was a little sad since there was not much interest from students to enroll, usually the areas of concentration are in sports, painting, makeup and singing, the others are as a kind of complement.

No me quedo de otra que iniciar con esa cantidad de alumnos, pero me dije que debo buscar la forma de enamorar a estos muchachos y completar mi grupo estable. Inicie hablándoles un poco de la Legislación Venezolana en materia de primeros auxilios, pero deje las puertas del aula abierta, cosa que por lo general no hago, al completar mi clase, cierro las puertas para evitar que haya distracción en los alumnos. Pero esta vez lo hice con la intención de que los que estaban afuera vieran el desarrollo de la clase.

I had no choice but to start with that number of students, but I told myself that I must find a way to make these kids fall in love with me and complete my stable group. I started by talking to them a little about the Venezuelan legislation on first aid, but I left the classroom doors open, something that I usually do not do, when I complete my class, I close the doors to avoid distracting the students. But this time I did it with the intention that those who were outside could see the development of the class.

Luego de toda la parte teórica iniciamos con la parte práctica, lo más básico, cómo acercarse a un posible paciente con politraumatismo, cómo constatar sus signos vitales; en fin cosas básicas, para que se hiciera más dinámico y hasta cierto punto divertido la clase, las puertas del aula se fue llenando de alumnos, los cuales se fueron interesando en el desarrollo de la actividad, se rego la voz a tal punto que fueron ingresando al salón para observar más de cerca. Les recuerdo que solo tenía alumnos de básica, es decir, de tercer año. Al finalizar la clase se me acercaron alumnos de media general (4to y 5to año) para manifestar su interés en participar en mi grupo estable, en momentos pase de tener antes 19 alumnos a 46 estudiantes interesados en incorporarse a mi grupo estable.

After all the theoretical part we started with the practical part, the basics, how to approach a possible polytrauma patient, how to check their vital signs; in short, basic things, to make the class more dynamic and to some extent fun, the classroom doors were filling up with students, who became interested in the development of the activity, the word spread to such an extent that they were entering the classroom to observe more closely. I remind you that I only had basic students, that is to say, third year students. At the end of the class I was approached by middle school students (4th and 5th year) to express their interest in participating in my stable group, in moments I went from having 19 students to 46 students interested in joining my stable group.

Esto ahora me generó una situación un poquito complicada, porque va en contra de las normas de los grupos estables, lo primero es que no se puede mezclar básica con media general, es decir, primero, segundo y tercero pueden hacer grupos estables juntos, pero no con cuarto y quinto año y no se puede exceder de 25 estudiantes por aula. Fuimos a conversar con la coordinadora de grupos estables y me recordó lo que yo sabía, las normas, pero era tal el interés que veía en los estudiantes que entre todos decidimos hacer dos sesiones de grupo estable, es decir una para básica y otra para media general, esto representa un poco de más trabajo para mí pero una solución al problema.

This now generated a slightly complicated situation for me, because it goes against the rules of the stable groups, the first thing is that you can not mix basic with general middle school, that is, first, second and third can make stable groups together, but not with fourth and fifth year and can not exceed 25 students per classroom. We went to talk with the coordinator of stable groups and she reminded me of what I knew, the rules, but such was the interest I saw in the students that we all decided to have two stable group sessions, that is, one for elementary and one for middle school, this represents a little more work for me but a solution to the problem.

Con esta medida iniciamos hoy mismo, luego de conversar, cuadrar el horario, reorganizar las actividades, le dimos inicio al grupo estable de media general, fue súper agradable esto la verdad no imagine que los estudiantes al ver mis dinámicas se mostrarían tan interesados en incorporarse, inicialmente solo necesitaba de 6 estudiantes ahora tengo dos secciones una con 25 estudiante y otra 21 estudiantes, durante la actividad muchos me manifestaban que la clase de ese modo era interesante sobre todo porque sabrían que hacer es caso que a alguno de sus familiares o amigos les ocurriera algo, ellos tendrían un conocimiento sobre qué hacer en caso de practicarles asistencia de primeros auxilios.

With this measure, we started today, after talking, setting the schedule, reorganizing the activities, we started the stable group of general middle school, it was super nice, I really did not imagine that the students would be so interested in joining when they saw my dynamics, initially I only needed 6 students, now I have two sections, one with 25 students and the other one with 21 students, During the activity many of them told me that the class was interesting, especially because they would know what to do in case something happened to one of their relatives or friends, they would have knowledge about what to do in case of practicing first aid assistance.

Al final todo fue mi grato para mí, los resultados que obtuve me sentí alegre, motivado a llevarles más información. Desde ya, voy a contactar con amigos médicos y enfermeras para que me apoyen y bridarles más y mejor calidad de información, y que ellos se enamoren del área de la salud y sean los que mañana nos briden atención de calidad en cualquier centro de atención hospitalaria.

In the end it was all very pleasing to me, the results I got made me feel happy, motivated to bring more information to them. From now on, I am going to contact my doctor and nurse friends to support me and give them more and better quality information, so that they fall in love with the health area and be the ones who tomorrow will provide us with quality care in any hospital care center.

Esta experiencia es parte de mi mundo en educación, una educación con aciertos y desaciertos pero en la que lo importante es que cada día seamos mejores profesores y brindemos aprendizaje de calidad para el futuro de la patria.

This experience is part of my world in education, an education with successes and failures but in which the important thing is that every day we become better teachers and provide quality learning for the future of the country.
