When Nature Became My Escape: Finding Peace in Mambukal

hello its me again.
Sometimes, because of our work as missionaries in the Himo Diocese, we become very busy and tired. Our work involves meeting different people, helping others, and dealing with different situations every day. There are times when we also feel emotionally and mentally exhausted. That is why one day, we decided to take a break and spend some time together.

We thought that it would be good to go somewhere peaceful, so we decided to visit Mambukal Resort.
When we arrived at Mambukal, I immediately noticed how beautiful the place was.

The surroundings were green, peaceful, and refreshing. The cold water was especially relaxing. Being surrounded by nature gave me a different feeling.

For a while, I was able to forget about my worries and simply enjoy the moment with my friends.
At that time, I was actually experiencing a lot of stress.

I was deeply concerned about some people who were undergoing dialysis. Seeing people go through difficult situations can be emotionally heavy, especially when you care about them and wish you could do more to help.

I was carrying a lot of thoughts and worries in my mind. That is why I was very thankful to God for giving me the opportunity to visit such a beautiful and peaceful place.

Mambukal is a wonderful place to visit if you want to relax, clear your mind, and take a break from stress. Sometimes, we don't need anything expensive or complicated. A simple trip, a walk, fresh air, beautiful surroundings, and good company can already make a big difference.

Before we went home to our place, which was about an hour away from Mambukal, we decided to walk around and enjoy the surroundings. As we walked, I looked at the beautiful scenery and appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. Little by little,

, I felt my stress becoming lighter.
That experience reminded me that sometimes, we need to pause, breathe, and give ourselves time to rest. Nature can help us clear our minds, refresh our hearts, and remind us that life is beautiful despite the challenges we face..
