How to Make a Banana Roll Typical of Bandung

Well, this weekend, Ema and I will share a very delicious snack recipe from Bandung. This snack with banana roll cake and this snack has become one of my favorite souvenirs from Bandung, which is currently my favorite. how to make this snack is certainly very easy and simple. Well, the ingredients for making banana rolls are certainly not difficult and you can buy all the ingredients for this recipe at the nearest supermarket or market in your city. the first ingredients you have to prepare are 4 bananas, wheat flour, cornstarch, sugar, liquid chocolate, messes, SP, pandan paste, vanilla powder, margarine, eggs and powdered milk. after you have prepared all these ingredients, now let's start the first step.

the first step, what you have to do first is prepare a bowl and put 55 grams of margarine. Then, melt the margarine over heated water and stir so that the margarine melts faster.

the second step, after the margarine has melted, set the margarine aside to cool. after that prepare a mixer and put 3 eggs, 50 grams of sugar, half a teaspoon of SP, 40 grams of medium protein flour, 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 2 tablespoons eat powdered milk. after that, mixer until white, expand and trail at full speed.

the third step, after the dough is white, expands and traces, the next thing you have to do is put all the melted and cold margarine, then stir slowly using a spatula until well blended.

the fourth step, after the margarine has been stirred until well blended, then add 1 sachet of vanilla powder and enough pandan paste. then, stir using a spatula until well blended and the color of the dough turns green like the photo above.

the fifth step, after the dough has changed color to green, then prepare a roll cake pan and then spread margarine evenly in the pan. after that, line the pan with parchment paper and put all the dough slowly into the pan until it's done. Then, tap the pan so that no air is trapped inside.

the sixth step, after all the dough has been put into the pan, then prepare the oven and preheat the oven for 5 minutes. after the oven is really hot, then enter the pan and bake the dough at a temperature of 180 or 200 degrees Celsius, with fire up and down for about 10 or 15 minutes depending on the oven you use.

seventh step, while the dough is roasted, then all you have to do is prepare a frying pan and put enough margarine, after that put 4 bananas that have been peeled and roast the bananas until all sides are brown on low heat.

the eighth step, after you have baked the bananas, the next thing you have to do is remove the cake from the oven and place it on the parchment paper. then, cut the sponge into 2 parts like the photo above, then spread the chocolate on the top of the sponge, then sprinkle the messes and place the banana lengthwise like the photo above. Next, roll the sponge until it's finished. Finally, cut the sponge into several pieces with the size according to the size. your wish.

the last step, after you have rolled the sponge along with the baked banana, the next thing you have to do is prepare the melted chocolate and dip the top and bottom of the roll like the photo above. after that, put all the rolls into the refrigerator so that the chocolate is more perfect.

and finally, after the banana roll has been put in the refrigerator for 5 minutes, now you can serve the typical Bandung banana roll to your family and friends. The taste is very sweet from the baked banana and the texture of the dough is very soft. What do you think?
