Yooo hello my fellow hivers and all hive communities from around the world wherever you are. come back again with me Jodi and Ema on the food and snack recipe blog that is very easy for you to make yourself at home without requiring a lot of money and time. thank you to all communities and hivers who have read and stopped by my previous holiday post. The fun day is over and now Emma and I are back to our usual routine of baking cakes for all of you. How are you today ? are you okay ? I hope you are all doing well without any problems. Well, on this sunny Monday, Ema and I will share a cookie recipe that is quite unique and very rarely found in cake shops. Bangkit cookies are traditional Malay cookies. Another name for this Bangkit cookie is Bagea cake which means it is made from sago flour. Usually, you can find this cake in Riau, North Sumatra, Jambi and West Sumatra. For those of you who like cookies or old school cakes from Indonesia, you can try and listen to the recipe below until it's finished. good luck Hivers!

well, the ingredients for making these cookies or cakes are certainly very simple and cheap, you can get all these ingredients at the nearest supermarket or market. The first ingredient you have to prepare is sago flour or you can use tapioca flour, pandan leaves, powdered sugar, instant coconut milk, margarine, vanilla powder and milk powder. after you have prepared all these ingredients, now let's start the first step of making this cookie or cake.

the first step, what you have to do first is prepare a pan and put 350 grams of sago flour and 1 pandan leaf that you have cut into pieces. then, roast the sago flour until the flour texture becomes light and the Padan leaves become dry using only low heat. After it is cooked, let the flour cool for a few minutes.

the sixth step, after you have flattened the dough like the previous photo, then prepare a cookie mold to your liking. if you have a lot of cake molds, you can use all of them to make the cake you make more interesting.

the seventh step, after you have prepared some of the cake molds that you have, the next thing you have to do is print the dough with the cake molds that you have until the dough is complete.

the eighth step, after you have finished printing the dough with the cake mold you have, after that spread evenly on the baking sheet using margarine so that the dough does not stick. then, arrange the dough neatly like the photo above.

the last step, after you have arranged the dough on a baking sheet, then prepare the oven and preheat the oven for 5 minutes only. after the oven is hot, enter the pan and bake the dough at a temperature of 150 or 160 degrees Celsius, with fire up and down for 20 or 25 minutes depending on the oven you are using.

I didn't know about the green object you added to the flour. Can you tell me your name? It must add different flavor 🙂
