How to Make Buko Pandan Dessert From The Philippines

Buko pandan drink is very suitable in hot weather, Buko which means young coconut and mixed with several other ingredients such as agar-agar. Well, the ingredients you have to prepare to make Buko pandan are to prepare 3 sachets of sweetened condensed milk, sugar, cheese, gelatin powder, several cups according to your wishes, 1 can of evaporated milk, young coconut, pearl sago and the last one is green food coloring. After you have prepared all the ingredients, now let's start making Buko pandan from the first step.

The first step, what you have to do is cook the gelatin first. The first thing you have to prepare is to prepare a frying pan and pour enough water, then add 1 pack of gelatin powder with a melon flavor or you can use the taste as you wish, then put 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar, salt to taste and finally add green food coloring . Then cook the jelly until it boils and mix well using low heat.

The second step, after the gelatin has been cooked until it boils and is well mixed, now prepare a baking sheet and pour all the gelatin into the pan. Then, so that the gelatin hardens faster, put the baking sheet in the refrigerator and let the jelly cool for about half an hour.

The third step, while the agar is being cooled in the refrigerator for half an hour, now we will cook the pearl sago first. First prepare a pan and pour a little more water, then pour the pearl sago according to your wishes. Then cook the pearl sago until it boils for about 30 minutes using medium heat.

The fourth step, after the pearl sago has been cooked to a boil for 30 minutes, now strain the red sago to another place, after you have filtered the pearl sago, move the pearl sago into cold water to cool it faster. After the pearl sago is in cold water, strain the pearl sago again to another place.

The fifth step, after you have prepared the red sago to completion, now prepare the young coconut meat and cut it into several parts. If you have small young coconut meat, you no longer need to cut the coconut meat into small pieces. Separate young coconut water and also young coconut meat, because we need young coconut water for the next step.

The sixth step, after you have cut the young coconut meat into several parts, now take the jelly pan in the refrigerator and cut it into small pieces like the photo above. After that, the two main ingredients are finished, now we will go to the next step.

The seventh step, what you have to do is mix in a large bowl all the gelatin, pearl sago and also the young coconut meat that you have cut before.

The eighth step, after you have mixed the sago mutiata, gelatin and also young coconut meat, now pour 1 can of evaporated milk into the bowl, then add 2 sachets of sweetened condensed milk, if you think it is not sweet enough, you can add 1 more sachet of milk sweet thick. After that stir until well blended.

The ninth step, after you have poured the evaporated milk into a large bowl, now add the young coconut water that you have separated, more or less you can put 400 ml of young coconut water. Then stir until everything is evenly mixed.

The tenth step, after the young coconut water has been stirred until well blended, now add a little more green food coloring into the Buko. You can also add nata de coco or others according to your wishes.

The last step, after everything is well mixed, now transfer the Buko to the cup that you prepared earlier, then put it in the refrigerator so that the buko is more delicious and fresh.

And finally, after it has been chilled in the refrigerator, Buko pandan is ready to be eaten with your family and friends.
