How to Make Cimol Purple Sweet Potato

So, on this Friday, Ema and I will share the Cimol recipe, which comes from Sundanese, which means Aci Digemol, which means rounded starch. The way to make Aci is also very simple and you can definitely make it in a short time. So, for those of you who are interested, just take a look at the recipe and I hope you succeed in making it.

So, the ingredients for making this snack are of course very simple and you can buy all the ingredients for this recipe at the nearest supermarket or market in your city. The first ingredients you have to prepare are tapioca flour, powdered sugar, purple sweet potato, brown milk, cornstarch and salt. After you have prepared all the ingredients for this recipe, now let's start with the first step.

The first step, what you have to do first is prepare enough purple sweet potatoes, peel all the purple sweet potatoes, wash them and also cut the purple sweet potatoes into several parts like the photo above. Use good quality purple sweet potatoes so that the results are more delicious.

The second step, after the purple sweet potatoes have been cleaned and cut to completion, then prepare a steamer and preheat it for a few minutes. After the steamer is hot, steam the purple sweet potatoes until they are really soft over medium heat.

The third step, after the purple sweet potato has been steamed until tender, then what you have to do is mash the purple sweet potato using a spoon until the purple sweet potato is completely smooth and crushed like the photo above.

The fourth step, after the purple sweet potato has been crushed and mashed, then what you have to do is put 5 tablespoons of tapioca flour, 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, 3 or 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar and half a teaspoon of salt. After that, knead the dough until it is well blended and you can form it into a round shape.

Fifth step, after the dough has been kneaded into a dough that can be formed, then all you have to do is take a little dough and round it with each dough weighing 15 grams or according to your wishes. Repeat this step until everything is done.

The last step, after you have rounded all the dough until it's finished, then prepare a frying pan and preheat the cooking oil for a few minutes. After the cooking oil is hot, then add the dough and fry the mixture until cooked over low heat.

And finally, you can serve purple sweet potato cimol to your family or friends. To make cimol more delicious, you can add sweetened condensed milk on top of cimol or other toppings that you think are delicious. So, what do you think? Very simple right? Yesss! This looks awesome! I'm definitely gonna try this out. I was looking for some purple sweet potatoes recently because I've heard that they're tasty but didn't find any here in my hometown. I'll be sure to get some next time I go back to where I grew up. Thanks for sharing this recipe, it sounds delicious!
