How to Make Coconut Core Kemplang

So, on this sunny day, Ema and I will make an old school snack that is quite popular and is in great demand by many people. I myself really like this old school snack, besides being delicious, this kemplang is also very not boring to eat alone. How to make this kemplang is very simple and you can make it yourself at home. well, the ingredients for making kemplang are certainly very simple and you can buy all the ingredients for this recipe at the supermarket or market closest to your home. The first ingredients you have to prepare are glutinous rice flour, rice flour, sugar, salt, coconut milk, mineral water, and coconut core. For those of you who don't know coconut kernels, coconut kernels are white coconuts that have been cooked using brown sugar like the recipes I've shared with you. if you have prepared all the ingredients for this recipe, now let's start the first step of making coconut core kemplang.

The first step, what you have to do first is prepare a place and put 125 grams of glutinous rice flour, 50 grams of rice flour and half a teaspoon of salt. after that, stir the dry mixture until well blended using a whisk only.

the second step, after the dry mixture has been stirred until well blended, the next thing you have to do is put 130gram of coconut core into the dry mixture and 130ml of thick coconut milk. If you don't use coconut core, you can also use coconut white instead. after that, knead the dough until the coconut core is well mixed with the dough and can be formed.

well, as a result you can see the photo above, the texture of the dough is really very smooth and can be shaped according to your wishes, usually this kemplang cake is shaped with an oval shape, but you can adjust the shape of the kemplang cake to the shape you like. next

the fourth step, after the dough has been kneaded until it is well mixed and the dough can be formed, then all you have to do is take a little dough and shape the dough into an oval like the photo above or you can also shape the dough according to your wishes.

the fifth step, after all the dough has been shaped to your liking, the next thing you have to do is prepare a frying pan and put enough cooking oil into the pan. After that, heat the cooking oil for a few minutes until it's really hot.

the sixth step, after the cooking oil has started to heat up, then gradually enter the dough into the pan and fry until all sides of the dough are brownish using only medium heat and after that drain the kemplang.

seventh step, after all the dough has been fried and drained, the next thing you have to do is put 5 tablespoons of sugar and 35 ml of mineral water into a frying pan that has been previously cleaned of cooking oil. after that, cook until the sugar is completely dissolved over low heat only.

the eighth step, after you have cooked the sugar until it is completely dissolved, then enter the fried kemplang into the sugar solution and stir until the sugar water shrinks using only low heat.

the last step, after the sugar water has shrunk until there is nothing left, the next thing you have to do is turn off the stove fire and stir continuously until the sugar dries in the kemplang.

and finally, after the sugar has dried in the kemplang, now you can serve this kemplang old school snack to your family or friends. Well, as a result you can see the photo above, kemplang looks perfect and delicious, it tastes very delicious as I said at the beginning .
