How to Make Durian Bread Stup

Well, today Ema and I will share another durian recipe for all of you, since the durian season is almost over, so I don't want to waste this opportunity. Stup Durian is almost similar to Kolak durian, except that Stup durian is eaten together with pieces of pillow bread. For you durian lovers, maybe this recipe can be useful for you at home. Well, the ingredients you have to prepare are certainly very simple and cheap, you can buy all the ingredients for this recipe at the nearest supermarket or market in your city. The first ingredients you have to prepare are durian, thick coconut milk, white bread, cornstarch, sugar, salt and pandan leaves. After everything has been prepared, now let's start the first step.

The first step, what you have to do first is to separate the durian seeds from the durian flesh. Make sure you buy durian with good quality so that the taste of this durian bread stup is delicious and perfect.

The second step, after you have separated the durian seeds from the durian flesh, then prepare a small bowl, put 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and enough water. Then, stir until the cornstarch is evenly mixed. This cornstarch solution is useful for thickening the durian gravy later.

The third step, after you have prepared the cornstarch solution, then prepare a blender and put all the durian meat into the blender. Then, puree a little durian flesh for a few minutes or you don't need to grind the durian flesh.

The fourth step, after you have smoothed the durian flesh, the next thing you have to do is prepare a frying pan, put 15 ml of thick coconut milk, 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar, half a teaspoon of salt and a piece of pandan leaf. Then, cook and stir continuously until the sugar is completely dissolved over medium heat.

The fifth step, after you have stirred the coconut milk until the sugar is dissolved, now add all the durian flesh that you have pureed and you can add the durian seeds into the coconut milk. Then, stir and cook again until boiling.

The sixth step, after the Surian meat has been stirred until well mixed and boiling, then add the cornstarch solution that you prepared earlier and cook for a while until the coconut milk thickens while still using medium heat.

The last step, after the durian sauce is finished and cooked, the next thing you have to prepare is to prepare good quality white bread and cut some white bread into pieces like the photo above.

And finally, you can serve durian buns to your family or friends. The way of presenting this durian bread stub is very simple, first prepare a plate, put all the pieces of bread into the plate and put the durian gravy according to your wishes.
