Happy weekend to all of you who are on vacation with your family or at home, stay alert, because the news of covid with a new variant has spread throughout the country. Thank you for those of you who have read and stopped by my previous post regarding the recipe for how to make long banana sticks. What do you think about this recipe? Very easy and interesting right? Give your feedback below this post. Well, so today I will share a recipe for donuts from Korea. This donut is called Kkwabaegi, this donut is shaped like a hair braid and usually this donut uses cinnamon powder or powdered sugar. However, I will make these donuts different and use common toppings such as chocolate and other toppings. Well, for those of you who are interested in making these donuts, just look at the recipe below until it's finished and I hope you succeed. Good luck and hope you like it.

Well, to make this Kkwabaegi donut recipe, the ingredients and spices that you have to prepare are certainly not expensive and easy for you to find around your home. The first thing you have to prepare is margarine, wheat flour with high protein, yeast, sugar, salt and also powdered milk. After you have prepared everything I mentioned, now let's start from the first step of making Kkwabaegi donuts.

The first step, what you have to do first is prepare a place and put 250 grams of wheat flour with high protein or equivalent to 18 tablespoons, 1 sachet of powdered milk, 2 tablespoons of sugar and half a teaspoon of yeast. After that, stir the dry mixture until it is well mixed with flour.

The fourth step, after you have kneaded the dough until it is completely smooth and there is no more flour around the place, now cover the dough and let the dough double for about 1 hour depending on the temperature around your room.

The fifth step, after you have let the dough double for 1 hour, now all you have to do is, prepare the parchment paper, then sprinkle the flour on the parchment paper so that the dough does not stick and after that cut the dough into 10 parts like the photo above.

The sixth step, after you have cut the dough as much as 10 parts, now all you have to do is round each dough you have cut and flatten each dough. Do this step until all the dough is done. After that, cover and let the dough rest for about 15 to 20 minutes so that the dough relaxes.

The seventh step, after you have rounded each dough and also flattened it, now roll each dough with your palms, make sure you wash your hands first. You have to roll continuously until the dough is like the photo above.

The eighth step, after you have rolled each dough like the previous photo, now the shape of the dough is like twisted, for more details you can see the photo above and you can also watch videos on YouTube. I'm a little difficult to explain this step, because I have to explain correctly and not wrongly.

The ninth step, after you have done all the dough as in the photo above, now close the dough again and let the dough rise a little for about 20 minutes.

The last step, after you have let the dough rest for about 20 minutes, now all you have to do is fry all the Kkwabaegi donuts until they are brown in color using low heat. After you have fried all the donuts, you can add toppings according to your wishes so that the taste of the donuts is more delicious.

I love twisted doughnuts. I attempted to make it after I watch a korean soap opera. (I am obsessed with K-drama btw)

Yours look so colorful and I believe it’ll taste as good as it looks. I follow your recipe and drop a comment in the nearest future.

Keep being amazing 😉
