Well, the materials you have to prepare are not so many and very cheap. The first thing you have to prepare is potatoes, sugar, salt, powdered milk, peanut butter, margarine and flour with medium protein. After you have prepared all the ingredients that I have mentioned, now let's start the first step of making a thousand layers of potato bread.
The first step, what you have to do first is, prepare 1 place and cut 3 potatoes into several parts like the photo above. Then, wash the kentant until clean.
The second step, after you have cut some potatoes into several parts and cleaned the potatoes, now prepare a frying pan and add enough clean water to the pan. Then put all the potato pieces into the pan and boil the potatoes until they are really soft.
The third step, after you have boiled the potatoes until soft, move them to the previous place and mash the potatoes until smooth using a fork.
The fourth step, after you have crushed the potatoes using a fork, now move the potatoes to a larger place and put 200gram flour or the equivalent of 15 tablespoons, 1 sachet of powdered milk, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of yeast. Then stir the mixture until everything is evenly mixed.
The fifth step, after you have kneaded the dough until well blended, now add 70ml mineral water into the dough. Then knead the dough by hand until the dough is semi-soft. Make sure you wash your hands before kneading the dough.
The sixth step, after you have kneaded the dough until it is half smooth, now add 2 tablespoons of margarine and half a teaspoon of salt into the dough. Then, knead the dough until the dough is really soft and khalis.
The seventh step, after you have kneaded the dough until it is soft and khalis, cover the dough and let the dough double for about 1 hour. So far, what do you think? Not difficult is it? Give your feedback below this post. Now let's start the next step.
The eighth step, after you have closed and let the dough rise for 1 hour, now prepare a large size parchment paper, then spread it on each baking paper until evenly distributed so that the dough does not stick to the parchment paper. Then form the dough like the photo above.
The ninth step, after you have put the dough on the parchment paper that has been smeared with cooking oil until evenly distributed, now flatten the dough using a rolling pin.
The tenth step, after you have flattened the dough using a rolling pin, now spread the peanut butter on the top of the dough evenly. You can see the photo above, I was spreading peanut butter on top of the dough.
The eleventh step, after you have spread the peanut butter evenly over the dough, now fold the right and left sides of the dough like the photo above.
The twelfth step, after you have folded the dough on the left and right, then fold the dough again from left to right like the photo above. Then, flatten the dough again using a rolling pin until the dough is completely flat.
The thirteenth step, after you have flattened the dough a second time, now roll the dough from the bottom up and reshape the dough like the photo above. Then, re-flat the dough a third time until it is completely flat.
The fourteenth step, this time you have to flatten the dough to the width and length like the photo above, make sure you spread the cooking oil evenly on the top of the parchment paper, because otherwise you will find it difficult to roll the dough.
The fifteenth step, after you have flattened the dough to the width and length like the photo above, now roll the dough back from the bottom to the top slowly and carefully so that the dough does not tear. Then cut the dough using sewing thread like the photo above. You can adjust the size according to your wishes.
The sixteenth step, after you have cut the dough using sewing thread, press the dough that has been cut using your palms so that the dough widens a little. You can see the photo above, I got 18 pieces of dough.
The seventeenth step, after you have finished cutting the dough into several parts using sewing thread, now all you have to do is prepare a pan and put 2 tablespoons of margarine into the pan. Then, heat the margarine until it melts using low heat.
The last step, after you have heated the margarine until it melts, put the dough one by one into the pan and bake the dough until it turns brown in color using the smallest fire. Bake all the dough until the dough is done.
And finally, the thousand layer potato bread can be eaten together with your family or friends. This bread is eaten very well with a cup of hot tea in the afternoon. The taste is very good and the texture of the bread is very soft, I can't stop chewing this bread because it is so delicious. What do you think ? With eighteen steps, you must have succeeded in making this bread. Thank you for those of you who have read and stopped by my post today about the recipe for a thousand layers of potato bread.
