Ducks are one of the most abundant types of poultry in Indonesia, ducks are kept by every resident whether they are kept a lot or a little because they use meat and also take their eggs for daily consumption.

to care for these ducks is very easy and not a hassle we only provide ducklings that are still small or just hatched, then we raise them, after that we provide or prepare cages with a predetermined size then we provide feed according to the age of the ducks .

usually in getting the ducklings that are still small we can do this by incubating the duck eggs either manually incubated by the mother or by using an incubator, within a period of about one month the duck eggs will hatch, then we take them and we care for him until he becomes an adult and has full flesh.

in my area in Aceh there are lots of duck breeders who raise or raise ducks by releasing them into the swamps or into the rice fields where the rice has been harvested, after being released into the fields, the duck breeders just have to control them and see where the ducks go after some time, about two months or more, they are released into the fields, the ducks can be harvested.

after taking the ducks in the fields they sell them to the collectors or agents who collect the broiler ducks, the duck breeders sell the ducks at a price per head of around 40,000 to 50,000 rupiah, indeed the price is very expensive and the duck breeders get multiple profits double by nurturing ducks naturally.
