Capitalizing on resources at our disposal
Reflecting back on Hive meet up with @silhouetted.grey and @presh84 yesterday, it was a wonderful get together, time went by quickly as we delve into Hive related chats. One of the question silhouetted.grey asked me was, haven been on Hive since 2017, have I been impacted in anyway positively.
I have been smarter financially, I have been opportune to see the necessity in long term investment was my response but reflecting back there's more to the positive impact of Hive on me. Time have become very valuable, I can't remember when last I felt bored, being consistent at what is of importance to me have been a cultivated habit and I could go on and on.
silhouetted.grey and presh84 have wonderful goals to empower the South African kids in their community through Hive, my face lite up with a smile when they shared their dream with me and all I could see is the possibility of having school kids utilizing Hive for educational benefit while earning in the process. I am hopeful this dream will come to fruition on Hive in the near future.
We are in an era and fast evolving towards a future where we have to be in charge of our success, relying on governments to provide the basics isn't going to get us anywhere as we can see Hive proving Borehole water for the people of Ghana where government have failed to deliver.
Cryptocurrency/Blockchain have presented us with opportunities, with any amount of money or no money one can invest into sustainable project, give it time and watch it grow.
With very minimal skill, one can create content for rewards in cryptocurrency with Hive being a perfect example. You are good at codding, start building Apps.
If we look around and within us deeply there's just more to what we can do and take advantage of the resources at our disposal. We live in an exciting time, though it is rough out there with unemployment on the high couple with inflation and war, on the bright side there's a technology before us that could alter things in our favor if properly utilize and taken advantage of.

Their idea is superb. It would be a huge impact on school kids all around the world too when this starts excalating to every corners, it's also a way to promote Hive to the world just as the borehole in Ghana has put Hive on the News over there.
Absolutely, that is the intention to also get Hive exposed to the world out there while touching lives in a meaningful way.
I believe with time we'll see this happening in every corners of the world
True, tokenization will make things of this kind a lot inspiring to build.
Building Hive up in Johannesburg meeting up makes life interesting, reading mentioned introductions I see both work for the Deaf School in Soweto, this would be a wonderful avenue for hearing impaired people to enjoy.

silhouetted.grey and presh84 are actually teachers of the deaf and they are so passionate about the learners judging by the way they speak and wish to positively impact the lives of the learners. Will be great having more people from Johannesburg tap into the opportunities on Hive.
Being teachers once the have learned the blockchain more, teaching the youth who are interested would be a great outlet for them to explore their talents. Keep going!

BEER.What they could have also done was to get media coverage for the project, maybe set some money to put the project on national television so that more entrepreneurs and people looking to invest in crypto can see the impact of Hive. I feel they could have done better for Hive, since they're taking the Value off here. It should be a win-win situation.
If you are referring to the Ghana Borehole, I think the media did cover it, I saw a post title about media coverage of the Ghana Borehole brought to life by Hive.
If we could get publicity for Hive through philanthropic gestures of this kind it will be awesome for the chain.

The idea of pushing hive into the education sector occurred to me recently as well...I intend to write a post specifically around that idea soon... good thinking
It really will be great pushing Hive towards education sector, Hive can be utilized in various ways and this is just one of them, laying the foundation for future generation. Will be nice to read your write up.

Thank you for this post @joetunex, I feel so encouraged by this reception and positive attitude of expanding Hive into the education sector that is focused on young people's lives.
It is so true that Hive can be used as one of the tools to achieve financial stability, I am deeply encouraged by the Ghana project, were real lives are being positively touched by Hive. I hope to do the same together with @presh84 here in South Africa young person at a time.

Given how the economy is right now, I am not surprised that more people are not looking for alternatives. Hive has a place and I think more people should show up because it can be a life changing experience.

A lot is being promised by government and very little is delivered. As such people will keep looking for alternatives till they find options like Hive.
