Horseshoe Bend | Takaka, NZ
No am not referring to the Arizona Horseshoe Bend, I never knew about Horseshoe Bend until I drove past the the sign that read Horseshoe Bend on New Zealand's State High Way 60, Takaka.
I had to go through a 22km mountain drive with lots of sharp bends to arrive at Takaka, am not sure if there is an alternate route but this mountain was very high when ascending and descending.
So I stopped at the Horseshoe Bend sign, the two immediate photos are to the left and right of the Horseshoe Bend sign.
The other photos are from other spots of the mountain, with very breathtaking views.

Beautiful scenery. I think if we had been there, we would have breathed a sigh of relief.
The scenery is super gorgeous, though I had to keep my eyes on the road because it bends after bends 😊
