It is quite baffling how most gravitate towards shitcoins
We are right in the middle of crypto bear market, it remains unknown how the current state of the market will last, we could be seeing further dips or we have bottomed in preparation for a bullish momentum. Therefore we all have to adjust accordingly in whatever direction the market moves, either HODLing, panic selling or buy the dip is anyone's responsibility.
On a second thought I actually wouldn't mind the market dipping dipper, not because I have a load of fiat waiting to dump in on crypto but a further dip could wash off the shitcoins that flood the crypto world.
Trending on my Twitter feed this morning were all sort investing in shitcoins.
What #Cryptos are you picking up at these prices?
— CRYPTO THRO (@CryptoThro) May 17, 2022
The cryptos most were opting for are; Baby Doge Coin, PlugPro, Wikicat, these are a whole bunch of shitcoins not even on Coingecko to start with. Another tweet was about which crypto will give highest gain this year.
I see this as wrong ways of getting in on crypto, getting involved mainly for the gains are only going to result in losses like we see with the case of Luna/UST. Not only is it baffling but can at times be annoying as well. I think people are bound to find crypto projects with long term potentials if time is put into making the research. Start with Bitcoin at least before getting into sustainable Altcoins.
These are pathetic ways of getting in on crypto which isn't looking too good in curbing the rate of losses and importantly adoption.
I think it should actually all begin with Bitcoin, read the Whitepaper, give it a read multiple times because it is not easy for most to understand it once. Reading Bitcoin's Whitepaper impacted a deeper meaning of what Bitcoin is to me than what any other person will describe, we might be reading same subject but have different meanings to us.
Crypto is really a game changer a different approach rather than wanting quick gains should embraced. There must be something to spot within crypto that will resonate with you as an individual morally, let that be your strong hold and never get easily influenced by the hype out there and the cryptos (money) will follow.

We owe it to ourselves to make Hive great

5 years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://peakd.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem
This brooooo this purge has been long needed. Perhaps it’s what we need to launch us to the next level of adoption
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Seriously a lot of purge is needed, lots of shitty cryptos all over the place and ones with no sense of checking for value just invest.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Sadly na them plenty pass
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
A lot of them don't care what we think, I tried to fight some of them. useless.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Brother, well, you know that, at least once, but such coins can shoot high, the main thing is to catch the steamer)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I am banking on Shiba I have 500k, wish it could hit $0,1 so I dump! That will be a lottery won!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
As you already know, I followed your example and bought a million coins, let's see, let me know when you sell your coins)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol cool, good luck with Luna that might possibly do a quicker up turn than Shiba
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't know, we'll see what happens)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I doubt this will happen anytime soon. Strangely, after a long silence, shitcoins in the Steem engine began to become more active.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't have a lot of fiat to buy crypto if the dip gets dipper, but I can sure throw in a little fiat and it will assist me in accumalating more coin. But we must admit building on hive is better when the dip is there.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Fiat is always a barrier in taking advantage of the dip, as for Hive everything stays the same bear or no bear, I just keep stacking up with eyes on the goal.
Posted using LeoFinance Mobile
With these words, I must praise you) ... well done!)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol thanks bro. Thanks for reading lol. Its been a crazy busy offline day trying to catch up on things here.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I like shitcoins. lol, yes, sometimes I lost funds. but, what I got. many times greater than the loss. The only thing I tried to buy at a price below the sixth or seventh zero after the decimal point)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol I have never been lucky on shitcoins probably because I avoid them and don't know how to spot the ones worth gambling on.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hive is an assurance, you can start building with close to nothing
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Some don't want it, maybe it is because you don't earn big quick on Hive I really don't know.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Let them enjoy their losses with no complain.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think that the reason is different. There was a time when everything was shaky and people invested their money in various sources of potential income.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Potential stands out for me there, not easy to spot potential project(s) though but a little bit of digging might just helps us from losing money.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Sometimes, I bought everything that was cheaper than the dirt under my feet, lol, if you saw my wallet in the Steem engine today, you would laugh), millions of hundreds of different shitcoins, which periodically give me the opportunity to stock up on the grocery market)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol, a good strategy it looks for you and seem to be working, you should shill some my way and if I have $10 lying around I will dive in.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Brother, I'm not advertising this to you, think well, sometimes I wait for about a year.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It is always worth the wait in crypto even 2 years wait on shitcoin to moon is okay lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, I have been waiting for some coins for three years)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hang in there bro they might just be worth the wait in channeling the money into something sustainable
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I believe in shitcoins)...brother, I'm serious, it all depends on what we consider to be a shitcoin, someone thinks that PAL or STEM, CTP, these are shitcoins, but, these are very profitable shitcoins, I would not like them named.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I wouldn't consider any of the above as shitcoins, there are use case to them, we can complain about them not mooning but shitcoins I think but yes it varies what individual considers as shitcoin,
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's what I'm talking about, it all depends on our yardstick, everything I've earned, a large part, I've got from "shitcoins."
Most of us did just that.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Wow, thank goodness I learnt from good people.
I haven't done or experience such...
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
As Scripture says, everything is for your good, but do not stick your heart to anything)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You are 100% right, the cheaper the Hive, the faster your wallet grows.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The hype for these coins just don't make sense, I rather just stay with established coins!!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
People just don't get it, they are attracted to shiny things!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
This is what a man says, sitting on a diamond placer)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Many people think so, but then they buy such coins that even stand, even fall)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Most of these coins won't really exist but I think most people price things in fiat and they are just following whatever is hot in the news/social media. I don't really see much of a future for it and at the same time, just yield isn't enough for me to see a good use for a token.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think most are driven by the hype and the yield, the higher the yield the more people jump in with their money. The slow and steady way of Hive isn't suitable for some out there.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Imagine that you have a tank .. Abrams. but, for close combat, it is not very good, then, it’s not bad when you have an M-16 as well.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Both are needed at times but for the less promising ones I won't be putting lots of money in it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I have invested in many coins since the days of STEEM.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Are you still HODLing them, how are they doing?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hibernation, but periodically there are pleasant surprises. I hoped. that many coins will go to the Hive, but something doesn’t stick with them.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Is Dlike still on Steem? I have Dlike tokens don't know if they still exist
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It looks like this)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Oh okay I should go look if I can find mine, thanks
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think that your coins are waiting for you and have not disappeared anywhere)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol cool, will let you know how it goes.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
They will not go anywhere, they will simply gather dust in the backyards of the stock exchanges.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Just imagine all these, people believe that picking some coins below the cents value and dumping them after some pump will make then rich, some got lucky with Shiba and I guess that's why people enter into crypto following tweet from somebody who knows close to nothing about the next market move.
A very wrong way to join crypto I must say.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You know I actually checked those coins on Coingecko just for curiousity sake and I found none, these are tokens that have been created on BSC, Polygon... to lure people and that's how rug pulls happen.
You buy a bag load of these tokens and your money is gone the next minute.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Are you saying they steal the keys?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Not Keys but Rug Pulls take place in DeFi mostly by they are exit scams as result of creating new tokens.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thank you, it's clear now)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You are welcome bro.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
In war, all means are good)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Certainly true 👍
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think that everything will work out for you and the fiat will do its useful work. But, from the direction in which I think nothing will change, therefore, you need to be prepared for the turn of events in a different direction).
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Having a balancing strategy and preparing for the unforeseen will be of great benefit, something I should work on all the time.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'm not working on it) As you can see, I write comments)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well comments has some positives to it as well.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Let's assume that this is a charade, now, I have to come up with a positive moment ... what letter?)
