Miniature Date Palm | Cunningham House
I was at the Christchurch Botanical Garden the other day, I didn't spend a lot of time in the Rose garden as I postponed it for another day and haven't been back there yet...
I was rather keen on exploring Cunningham, Townend and Garrick House.
So let's see some of the flowers from Cunningham house. The one that stands out for me is the Miniature Date Palm or Dwarf Date Palm, I wonder why such names, it doesn't really look that short to me.
It is a native plant to China, Vietnam, from my gathering on Google.

The place looks welcoming and has a nice atmosphere, love the greenery. Perhaps, the date fruit is smaller than an actual date fruit that's why they call it miniature date palm?
The atmosphere is nice even though it's indoor. Maybe, the "date" and "miniature" interests me, a bit of digging up should get me enlightened 😃

Greetings friend, what nice photos, you can see a lot of vegetation in the surroundings, really a very nice palm tree that you managed to capture in photo, but miniature or dwarf does not seem to have nothing hahaha.

It is a house full of green flowers, very cool indoor flowers it was nice to explore them.
Lol the dwarf name of this Palm tree doesn't seem to make sense to me.
