The Hive ecosystem is expanding with opportunities on the rise consistently and so is Splinterlands. Have you ever wanted to tap into the opportunities Splinterlands offers and don't have time to play the game or are not keen on playing? If yes, then there are other aspects of the game that one can earn without playing the game like staking, and liquidity pools, which could also be buying and selling or renting of cards

Investing in card packs like Chaos Legion and Riftwatchers also presents another side of the game to invest in without actively playing.

I took us through the above possibilities, and where to buy SPS and DEC tokens.

Owning assets like Land is another option that presently earns land owners SPS daily.
An aspect I didn't touch on in the video tutorial is also owning a License node which also earns daily SPS at present.

With all these possibilities anyone can tap into Splinterlands to take advantage of the opportunities present without battling it out against monsters and summoners on the battlefield.

Investing in the game will also not be easy as well because it also requires good finance but I'm happy to know that I can still benefit from the game even without playing.

Thanks, Jose, I was prompted to make this video based on "am not a gamer" comments which used to be what I told myself in the early days of Splinterlands. It is great that Splinterlands is accommodating to both gamers and non-gamers.

I was reading an article earlier today that explained that Splinterlands is more than a game, It's a business. That made sense to me lol. I'm currently not keen yet on playing the game but I'll like to start understanding the business side and how it works.

Splinterlands is broad and keeps getting broader by the day I can barely keep up and just ignore some stuff. There are other opportunities like Runi which I didn't touch on in this tutorial because am not involved in them. So the game is more than a game. It is amazing how the team managed to put such a game together that keeps evolving.

I think with blockchain and cryptocurrency, it becomes possible to surpass the limits impose by web 2.0 models. Everything is multidimensional and is more than what meets the eye. Games are more than just games. Social media apps are more than just social media.

I think some fail to look deeply at this level which is why they fail to see the bigger picture. Hive is a social media blockchain but a lot more than social media when we start looking deeper into its capabilities and use cases.

Overall a decent guide and it shows the different opportunities here on Hive. The older packs have proven to be a great investment so far and I think it's great to see. However, opening them is just a gamble though.

I would say that at the moment liquidity pools and staking SPS on the game (to get the next 12 months of Genesis airdrop) is the way to do it.
Land business is still not clear when it will be ready

Staking looks to be the sweetest and less effort investment in Splinterlands now, and yes earning those GLX airdrops from SPS staked makes a lot of sense with VOUCHERS to gain as well.
