The Paratitahi tunnels emerge as you drive into Kaikoura, I approached with caution as I try to screen ahead of me, not ignoring the beauty around me which I have been struggling with when it comes to driving I NZ, I have to keep my eyes on the road.

If you ask me, I'd rather be a passenger in New Zealand than a driver so I can enjoy the views without worrying about collision or driving off the road.

The tunnels are beautiful. There are quite a number of them, maybe three or four, I can't recall now.

But driving through the Paratitahi tunnels was a scenic experience I enjoyed.

As a passenger, you will be able to fully take in the scenic views without being disturbed by having to focus on driving. The overhead view of the tunnel looks amazing!

Exactly, I will gladly be a passenger any time. True bro, the tunnel through such a beautiful rock is amazing.

Not far from it is a stunning bridge but I couldn't photograph it due to rushing.

Yes I saw a train track, I wonder if there is train travel from Christchurch to Kaikoura for tourist travel or adventure seekers, something I've got to look into.
