Taking The Fundamentals Of Blockchain/Cryptocurrency Into Account For Sustainable Results

avatar

I started off my crypto journey for the sole purpose of gains, I just wanted to put in fiat, make profits and go back to my fiat life feeling all good and smart.
But it didn't work out as I wished, I lost money.

Something happened along the line, instead of just focusing on the gains I developed interest in Bitcoin at a fundamental level which didn't and haven't made me an expert on Bitcoin but I have and continue gain knowledge enough to keep in inclined to it's advancement.
Basically I found my WHY with Bitcoin.

I found the world's been gifted with a powerful tool, a tool no one can control, the idea of a bank in my pocket was appealing to me and most importantly decentralization, I hate being boss around so Bitcoin and it's underlying chain offers me the platform to interact as wished without Big Brother's control.

Invariably that interest at a fundamental level led me into finding Hive, it makes me seek WHY over a particular cryptocurrency or blockchain with the intention of making money off it.

I am prompted to putting this piece together based on interactions in a Telegram crypto chat group. Majority are only focused on making money ignoring the freedom and other benefits cryptocurrency/blockchain offers.

Not to say making money shouldn't be the motive but from a personal standpoint familiarizing myself with a particular source of income works better.

As much as DEX offers no KYC requirements and privacy, it would be safe to say without centralized exchanges we wouldn't be at this stage of moving funds around easily in comparison to the complexities of DEX usage.

But that doesn't make me a fan of CEX, I have to use CEXs now with the hope of more friendly to use DEXs showing up down the line.
And here's where I feel it boils down to understanding the fundamentals of cryptocurrency and its underlying technology.

Clearly from the above comment privacy is of no concern to that individual, tax collectors coming after your crypto gains through the use of CEX hasn't been given a thought.

In a world where humans are being controlled with the extent getting worse (Covid lockdowns a reminder) seeking means of less control over humanity should be considered.
I feel blockchain/cryptocurrency has a part to play in freeing us to some extent, we've just got to develop interest in the potentials and not just focus on the monetary aspects alone.

The financial Freedom crypto brings is something we should embrace, while the money is good, building a life that's sustainable while enjoying oneself is great. This is the life I have decided to choose.

The Freedom and many other benefits cryptocurrency offers if embraced can change lots of things to our advantage compared to what are currently used to and the money will flow in one way or the other.

Thanks for the tip bro 🙂

Why we do blockchain cryptocurrencies far outweighs the profit factor, with inflation looming in most fiat one definitely needs an additional place to put a nest egg.

The world is rapidly changing, good move made and thanks for insight on your experience.

And I enjoy the nest cryptocurrency offers, it's just a matter patience and keep building.

I'll sip some wine now and have the 🍺 a little later, thanks for both 🤗

Fascinated me that the possibility is there to one day do over border work without the hassles we face continuously, yup still there... still enjoying!

That day is actually here already as remote work increases, I've seen lots of blockchain related jobs, am on the continuous lookout for ones I can do as most are developers and coding related.

Well hopefully you find a few to keep going, I have not looked in a good few years if I see anything I will pass onto you.

When next you out walking along Goldman Street how about some photographs of the old buildings that remain like this one....

if I see anything I will pass onto you.

Thanks I appreciate that 🙏

Sure should be able to take a photo graph of it tomorrow of Friday when I pass there to the salon.

This is the house close to the small park right?
Do I send it to you via Twitter?

Across the road from the park, great old architecture! Everyone called it the haunted house, would be interesting to find someone who knows the history, must be over 100 years old. Might have a date stamped onto the building somewhere not sure.

While you walking take some snaps of the old post office if it is still there (I doubt it), library, lake something to do when cruising around, would be nice to see changes.

Hahaha will do I haven't been at the lake in a while I should dedicate a day to that and make a post about it.

Just checked google on the old house, built 1890 was a goalers house with 3 cells (prison), Goldman St Cnr Seventh Ave would be interesting to do some content on that, older than I thought!

Florida lake just alongside the swimming pool (when I was at Arthur Matthews Primary school), we were taken to learn road rules and how to ride a bicycle in a miniature 'driving school', now that was a long time ago!

Many good memories swimming in pool and lake or canoeing around when swans still were still alive, donated by British royalty to the lake if I remember correctly.

Nice nice history about the old house, I will pay much attention each time I pass by now though am often attracted to the build kind ancient and building.

I lived right by the lake MARCELA COURT before moving up Florida North, I will visit the lake one of these days. Last time the ducks were still there and I would go feed them.

Only noticeable due to the age, most of the area is behind high walls with little to see of late.

Never lived by the lake, had some friends down that side, I trained at the Florida North swimming pool for many years, played on that koppie going around the water tower, it was all open veld.

Power just came back on, oh the joys of power cuts all day long.....

Hahaha our power just came back on too! It's going off again tonight 00:00 till 02:00. They saying it's stage 4, I say it's the new normal.

It's still an open veld by the Water tower on Beacon Street, just a stone throw from my current place.

I began to understand utility and jy love for crypto increased. We haven't even scratched the surface properly.

Crypto basically has become a hobby, it is crazy how much time I spend daily and never gets bored.

No doubt we are yet to scratch the surface of what blockchain tech has in store for us.

Thanks Karin
