Your Take On Cryptocurrency Depends On Your Involvement With Cryptocurrency

Spend some time on Twitter and you will be amazed at what is fed to you, some are of a positive impact that is worth working with and some are of the contrary and everybody is simply right, I am not the argument type as it is a waste of time and energy which are very scanty for me.

The only people who benefit from crypto are scammers and crypto influencers

I could spend the whole day opposing the above statement and it most probably would get me nowhere.

Søren Nordentoft the commenter is right only to some extent. We can't argue the fact that scammers are ruining the cryptocurrency space, ripping where they did not sow, I wonder how some can live with that but that is life.
Crypto influencers are just as bad with some mainly focusing on shilling without real use cases of cryptocurrency or blockchain projects.
To that extent our Twitter friend is correct.

Where I believe Søren Nordentoft is wrong is that perhaps he has mostly been involved in crypto projects that depend on influencers for success. You are bound to lose from what we are witnessing within the crypto space if you act upon everything a cryptocurrency influencer says.

The way to go about crypto is to listen to ideas, and opinions and apply your common sense to make the final decision based on what is vital to you, for some, it could be prioritizing decentralization, while others could be focused on chasing high yields.

I oppose crypto only benefits scammers and crypt influencers because I am neither a scammer nor a crypto influencer yet I have benefited from crypto through my involvement on Hive. When it was all gloomy last year to the point of getting evicted from my place of residence I had to rely on my Hive earnings to pay bills.

So many in the community have shared similar stories on how Hive has been of help financially and some are living full-time on Hive income.

Aside from Hive, we saw how cryptocurrency was used to facilitate aid to those affected by the war in Ukraine through donations.

Hive community-sponsored Borehole projects are being provided for the people of Ghana in towns without water supply.

The list could go on but the bottom line is everyone's involvement with crypto projects is bound to influence their judgment of cryptocurrency.
Though not many crypto projects out there are focused on value, most are hyped and on the front pages. Take Hive for example no one is talking about it because the price of the token is not mooning. Wait for Hive to be trading for around $10 and it will be given some attention.

We owe it to ourselves to make Hive great

Their are scammers in every sectors of life and I can't forget to tend you that there are Twitter account owners who take opportunity of events like this to grow their account. These people probably know the truth, but their sense of FUD is what creates attention on them.

Exactly, scammers are all over the place even before crypto saying the only ones that benefit from crypto are scammers and influencers isn't one I will agree with. That is no doubt FUD spreading.

Fud will always be there I reckon, I think it's a situation that'll be difficult to handle, but we'll be standing strong.

I agree with the topic. Many people in crypto have different realities. It’s always been so in my experience, I remember when PlayToearn became a frenzy, most on Hive had been used to it since the inception of Splinterlands whereas the rest of the world just started to catch on. Interesting indeed

Experiences within the crypto space varies since we are dealing with a big industry with new projects constantly showing up, the downside is most are just hyped with no value leaving those exposed to such with regrets.
Hive gives a positive outlook especially for those of us on Hive.

I think people's judgment or opinion are always tainted by personal experience. We hardly look at things objectively seeing it from different points of view. The Crypto space is filled with scammers and influencers only on the surface level, if one pulls the curtain and dives deeper, you'll find a different picture. There you'll see the builders and creators.

Rightly said, it takes a lot more to know and be involved in crypto than just engaging on the surface without being in the know about development levels and even who the builders are.

I think the issue is that the scams tend to be the ones highlighted in the news. It doesn't help that SBF and FTX stole billions of dollars of assets. At this point, I think the technology is good but the entire space is kind of infested with a bunch of those get rich quick schemes.

Scams and Hypes dominated the media, the real use case projects are less talked about so it generally boils down to the ones that each is exposed to and involved in.
I have been scammed of my BTC back in 2014 but I eventually found Hive has been working for me.

One can have a very wrong perception if they do not do their homework. My first experience with crypto was quite disappointing. Luckily I bought bitcoin for just R500 back then just for trial. That fraction disappeared until it was zero and it was due to some random fee charges. I only found out later from the online reviews that the platform was not transparent and legitimate.

From that experience, one has a choice to learn to do their homework first in future or rant that crypto is a scam. There is always gonna be a bad side to every good initiative and I think it's up to each individual to decide how they want to write their crypto story.

I still believe crypto has more to offer and one just has to be open-minded and take caution as anything that involves money comes with risks.

Lol, when Bitcoin disappears then it tells you something is not right 😂

Rightly said Humbe, our personal experiences count so it is vital to put in the effort to research so as to be on the right side for the positive crypto story to share.
