HYDRA | Focus Chest

It is amazing how the game has evolved even though I didn't start playing Splinterlands in its earlier days, during the Untamed era when I started playing I used to want Hydra badly.

I guess I liked cards with the Thorns ability a lot. Fast forward to the present, my strong wish to own Hydra has dropped since we now have newer cards with great abilities in the game.

Not to say Hydra is no longer a great card, the stats speak for themselves from level 2 where it begins to get deadly with the Thorns ability.

It gains Retaliate ability from level 4 and Trample at max level. We are looking at a Beta card so the selling price is no joke with only 2 Gold Foil listed in the market, $15k and $20k.

With a little less than $50 one can get a Regular Foil copy.

I enjoyed the fight with this opponent, more like fighting an older generation player.
