My favorite months are June, July, and August... as August comes to an end, it's like the year is over for me... but I will still try to enjoy the following months.

How about the water? Is it warm enough to swim in?

Due to the fact it was August, I was expecting the water to be warm... it was very nasty cold.
The air was warm, but not as warm as it usually is in August, and things were getting even cooler because the sun was going down and this part of the beach was in the shade before the sun went down.

People I've known who swim often told me that even in September the water temperature generally holds up, so I was somewhat hopefully the water would have been warm, but it was quite cold. Probably cooled down a lot due to recent weather.
