I have almost missed the Blog of the Week (#BoW) challenge of the Silver Bloggers Community - the weather has been much too nice in the past days and apart from sitting in the office I sat on my motorbike every day after work.

Well, before I start I have to tell you that Murphy's Law hit me today and so something happened that a second after I clicked a button, I wished to go back in time and change that something ...

Today, during lunchtime I began to prepare this post and then I accidently pressed "Publish" instead of "Update Draft".
I have immediately closed the browser window, but it has been too late because @Ecency has been faster than me and a few autovotes have also been made already, so I couldn't delete the post anymore.
I am very sorry for that mistake and if you don't mind, I would like to donate the rewards for the false post to @combination. If you don't know what @combination is, please scroll a little bit down to the end of this post where you can see a badge with a bee and a butterfly.

But now to the post I actually wanted to make: there are a lot of things I would change if I could go back in time...

When I was 17, I had the opportunity to learn Photography as a job but I have had no idea about photography back then, and so I went for a "safe" job instead. A few years later, I regretted it when I bought my first SLR camera, but of course it was much too late. So, till today, I often wonder what would have happened if I had made a different decision.

But even if I could, I wouldn't go back and change anything, because I don't know if the Kismet would have worked the same way: Would I have met my wife later? Would I have become the father of my wonderful Twins?
I can't give the answeres, so I think I have made the right decision back then.

There are a few more things that I would change, but they are only minor and wouldn't matter that much.
But if I think back, there's only one more thing comes into my mind, one little decision, which I have made about 12 or 13 years ago, would be cool if I could go back in time and change that one decision.

Back then I smiled and laughed at some news I've read on the internet, but today I'd love to go back in time and instead of laughing at it, I would buy some of this virtual "game money" they called Bitcoin... I laughed just like so many others have laughed, but we all had the chance.

I know money isn't everything, but it would make my life and the lifes of my family and friends so much easier.

The images in this post were taken during my latest visit in the Lepena Valley in Slovenia, during a morning walk (Fern) and during a motorbike ride yesterday (bank of a little reservoir) and today at home (Swatch watch).

All photos were taken with the Canon EOS R and one of these lenses: Canon RF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM, Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 L IS II USM, Canon EF 16-35mm 1:4 L IS USM, Canon EF 50mm 1:1.8 L STM, SIGMA 105mm 1:2,8 DG MACRO HSM, Sigma 100-400mm F5-6,3 DG OS HSM C.

Stunning photos @johannpiber, your photography already is outstanding! What is coming through time and time this week is how our lives could have changed had we followed a different path! But must say, I agree with you about Bitcoin, if only we had known then what we know now!

As I read your post the first thing that entered my mind was that if you became this famous photographer, would you have met your wife and what about the twins?
Then a little bit lower down I saw that you answered the question succinctly.

I think that we all have something in life that we wish we could have changed and for me it would be the wish that I had a father, But we don't realize that our lives have turned out the way that it should be and that all of the "wrongs" were only lessons to shape our characters for what we are now.
The biggest lesson that I learned was gratitude.

Oh yeah, and I am so glad that I am not the only one that clicks the wrong buttons at the most inopportune times.
Imagine spending much time to create a perfect post that you are happy with and when you click "Post the post disappears never to be seen or found again.
I figured the problem.
My hand was on the keyboard at the time that I clicked post and I must have pushed on the "Ctrl" key or some other key.

So, be grateful that you at least have something to give to combination 🤣😁🤣
I am at least grateful for your mistake 😉

I have just before replied to @Lizelle that I believe that it all has gone it's right way, even if we sometimes don't think so, and even if sometimes we want to make things or decisions undone.

All "wrongs" must have a reason, just as the "rights" must have one.

I have written some words that came into my mind and wanted to finish the post later at home. If I would have had time I would have edited the fail post, but I had some other work to do.
No, you're not the only one who clicks on the wrong buttons sometimes 🤣

It is the wrongs and the rights that shape our lives and regrets are only empty things, as we can do nothing to change what's done in the past.

Everything has gone the way it had to go, you might not be the good man you are if only a little thing in your life had gone different, and I might have never met you because I'd probably laugh at the Hive if I had bought 1,000 Bitcoin in 2008, and that would all be wrong, because it's good the way it is :)

I know that @combination needs more help than I can give, but maybe one day this will change.

The !BEER brewery does not deliver and the !PIZZA oven is cold but there should be some !ENGAGE 30 in a drawer 😃

You have spelled it out totally correctly here Hannes.
I might not have started Papillon, as then I wouldn't have needed a camera and then I wouldn't have been on Hive. Had you bought the bitcoin, you also wouldn't be here and we would never have met because I don't like rich people 🤣

@combination is where it should be at this stage and yes, maybe this time round when crypto improves, we will start a marketing campaign.

Nope, I would be a doctor Hannes or a Vet. Mind you they also have lots of money and yes, we can still play cricket together, as I don't like golf at all.
Played golf once and at some holes we had to send out a search party, as I hit the ball out of the park.

Yes, what goes up must come down, somebody sang this as a song and I think it was "Blood Sweat and Tears".
But they forgot to sing what goes down must go up 🤣

I have never played golf nor cricket, so I don't know what I would prefer, but I think the neighbors of the golf club should take care because of lost balls flying around when I play golf 😎

We played street cricket and broke a few windows Hannes,
The adults banned us and we went to play in a field. I also played rugby and participated in athletics.
The boxing kept me fit, but after high school there was no more sports for me, as I had to work.

Hahaha, after you have played they will also ban you for life 🤣

Must have been all smoked up 😉

I never liked team sports, but I loved running every day, also on the mountains. Later I was mountain biking a lot, but haven't done much in the past years.
And I have never broken a window in my life. That's a lie, because when I was a boy I somehow broke one with my head. I can't remember how it could happen, but I still have the scar on my forehead.

Yes, funny how sports can leave us over time, yet others stick to it even until they turn 90 years old.

Or no, I will build a side-car on my wheelchair and give you a lift when you struggle for breath after 5 steps 🤣

When you are 100, I will be 110, or somewhere around there, so yes those will be interesting times.
We can both travel around in my wheelchair with a side car and watch the young adults (girls of course) 🤣

We broke quite a few with that cricket game, but always replaced the broken ones, until the home owners decided that they had enough. Then they banned us.

Shame, my body also looks like a road map with all of the scars 🤣

Us two only know that beacause we graduated in the university of life. Nothing that we were forced to learn at school prepared us for the pitfalls in life, so we had to learn the hard way.

Yep, a we have a boy and a girl - they will turn 19 in August ... time flies so fast.

It would be great if there was no money at all, but there will always be something like money or better said some sort of payment, I believe. It's just the way we have developed - we expect to get something in return if we do something.

Again we have to postpone our meeting, and I am the only reason for that. One day we'll meet and I will explain the weird mind of mine.

Wonderful photography as always Hannes. 🌺 I take you are quite satisfied with your life and accomplishments…except for the bitcoin. I’m sure many folks regret not getting on that gravy train. :))

I’m sure work in photography would have been great but you took a different path. You are using photography now and made a lovely long exposure on the waterfall.

Oh yes, Jo, I am happy with my life as it is, but at the moment my life is also a mess, mainly because of work. There's a lot going on here and a lot will change in the next weeks and months. I'll be in a better position, but will have more work and don't know if I'll get the additional co-workers... it's all just annoying at the moment and a couple of Bitcoin would really help 😉 lol ... too late for that train 🚂

I was very good in arts when I was a boy, they even wanted to send me to an art school, but it was too far away from home - that's another decision I have made.
It is as you say we are where we are meant to be ... I probably would never have met you and my other friends on the Hive.

The other thing is, everything would have changed, and I wouldn't have been the I today. Maybe I will be better off, maye I will be worse off. But I am happy with who I am today. 😊

Strange thing life is, we all hold a few regrets, then think of how our destination would/could have been altered, stumble back to saying "no" too many things are connected!

Great to see you back on your 'pony' riding the hills and taking to the trails, amazing photography and scenery to lose oneself, without regrets or change.

The outdoors is shouting, prohibition won't stop me only sun-downers will be the sun going down, see you in a couple of weeks off to capture the moment, maybe hug a happy hippo or two....

Looking back one can see damages caused by change all around, so no perhaps safest to just be and let be!

Going up our North Coast to where there are many game parks for day drives into see wildlife, may even convince someone to get up early to capture a sunrise.... Humpback Whales move along the coast at this time of year with young, hopefully see them too.

Humpback Whales mate off this stretch of coastline between June to November so really hoping to see the males breaching. If not too expensive take a trip out on a boat, also whether permitted with this ghastly gremlin doing it's rounds in South Africa once again.

Movement up and down our coast, we stand a good chance of seeing Wales and Dolphins life in the sea is active, again always the right place at the right time.

When I am going for wildlife photos I am always at the wrong place at the wrong time, but often it happens when I only have landscape lenses with me, that I see all kinds of birds or animals ;)

I hope you'll get all chances you need to see these big and beautiful fishes mammals as close as you feel comfortable :)

It was a better sunrise than recent walks not quite what I hope for but a nice walk even saw an ospry catching a fish but had the camera set for seascapes and didnt get good shots of it

What can I say? I know this problem exactly - till I have set the camera for a faster shutter speed the bird is long gone 😉
I like the subtle sunrises in your recent shots, the light color gradients from dark blue to orange or pink.
