I chose Valentina Shevchenko to defeat Jessica Andrade which she did easily via TKO.
I chose Kamaru Usman to beat Jorge Masvidal which he did via impressive knockout.
My pick for tonight's UFC:
Michael Chandler (2.10) vs Charles Oliveira (1.80)
Oliveira comes into this fight as a slight favorite which he should be considering he has an eight fight winning streak which was capped by an extremely impressive mauling win over former #1 lightweight contender Tony Ferguson. Oliveira did a great impression of Khabib in that fight by taking down Ferguson and controlling him throughout the fight for all three rounds. Oliveira is good in all areas. Stand up... fantastic. Wrestling... good there too. Submission... he holds the record for most submissions in the UFC.
Chandler made a name for himself in Bellator. He was the former lightweight champion there and made a good first impression in the UFC by knocking out Dan Hooker. His only loss in his last 7 fights has been to Bellator's goat Patricio Freire. Chandler has excellent knockout power and great wrestling and cardio.
My pick is Chandler. Oliveira is great but Chandler only needs one punch to take him out. If Chandler can defend against Oliveira's great wrestling and keep this a stand-up fight, I think he has a puncher's chance of putting out Oliveira. Chandler has great cardio so I'm thinking he will face the greatest threat vs Oliveira during the early rounds. Oliveira winning quick and early via submission wouldn't surprise me but I'm going with the underdog in this one.
My pick is the Michael Chandler moneyline.

Well it is all over now and in the first round at least you probably thought your bet was going to pay off, I know I certainly did. The 2nd round was disappointing because I wanted to see more but all of these guys are just one cleanly landed punch away from getting staggered and finished. I'm a bit surprised that Chandler didn't finish it in the first honestly.
