HELLO HIVE

Few days ago I made a post on a very important stage in the growth and production of groundnut this stage is that determines if the groundnut you've planted would produce properly and if its maturity period is not far away any more.

The stage where the plant starts producing flowers happens twice in during its lifespan the first is a four to five weeks after planting and the second is usually four weeks interval after the first.

The groundnut on my farm has already produced the first flower and it has completely dried up the next would be the second flower, the moment the first flower comes out there are some changes that occur in the plant one of which is that the plant becomes broad with lots of branches and the root that is the point of production would increase from the regular amount of roots it has before which was only for the purpose of tapping nutrients and water.

This stage is a very crucial part of it lifespan so it is important to pay very keen on the farm so that it has all the regular care it needs part of which is weeding the grass on the farm, it not important to add fertilizer since the groundnut plant has a way of attracting so much nutrients compared to other crops, clearing out any bush around that can act as safe heaven for pest especially rodents.

The final part is very important because amount of damages that rodents are known cause to legumes even if it means they have to bore holes into the ground to get to the peanuts.

Wow, the groundnut farm looks very rich in nutrients based on the greeny color of the stems. Nice stage of planting explanations.
