A common trait of vegetables like fluted pumpkin and jute plant ☘️ is that they grow and mature on time with at least four weeks and it will be ready, fluted pumpkins do take longer to germinate unlike jute leaf and that's about a week or so but once it starts to sprout then you can be rest assured that it will take only a short while before we will start harvesting it. The earlier you start cutting from it the better because the early stage leaf is actually very soft, fresh and nutritious but the more it gets exposed to harsh conditions and the leaves gets older then you will notice that difference in your meal when you make it.

I do have a fixed period when I do harvest the leaf for sale but in the case of feeding I can do that anytime since I won't be needing much the interval is the period that I will normally new, fresh branches to have grown after I have harvested the previous ones because harvesting this plant is not done once but on a regular basis until the plant finally dries up what I need from it is the leaf and nothing else so the plant itself is unaffected in as much as I am cutting it in the right place because you need to know that too or else you cut one part and the whole plant dries up.

This reproductive behavior by fluted pumpkin is what makes it even more lucrative than so many other vegetable plants out there and not only that it is also very nutritive, and delicious if you mix it with the right food.
