Happy new month Hivians!

Today, I spent my new month at my birth place. Fortunately, it is a weekend, so I had enough time to visit and get back home the same day.

For today, I specially dedicated it to visit where I do cut my hair when I was a child till I graduated from primary school.

The place seems not to change from its old look; but it's only the environment that seem to have developed in a way.

While strolling down, I passed some compounds I do visit and play when I was little. Now, the part of the place is covered with crops, while the other one is a kiosk for buy petty things.

Immediately, I arrived I couldn't meet the man that do barbed me then, but I met his apprentice.
He permitted me to go in and see how the place currently looks.

I noticed he has developed a bit, but still looks like an old barbing salon.

Over 17 years now, he's still using the television of early 2000s. The barbing cape is still a curtain-like one.

The chair has been upgraded from wood to a swivel chair. Wow! Such a lovely experience.

Lots of things I saw there made me so uncomfortable to barb and feel the old times days. I rather gave the apprentice some little tokens to help me give his boss, thanking him for his love and support; most times he barbed us for free then.

Tracing back to places like this is really a good one; and giving back to the community you grew up from is a way of saying "THANK YOU for making enjoy my childhood."

This is how my day went, how about you?
