Y entre todos los propósitos para el año 2022, estaba conseguir un gatito. Un felino que se adaptara a mi esposo @Aragort y a mí.
Él es un apasionado por los gatos y a mí me crio un veterinario, no hace falta decir que nuestro amor por las mascotas es gigante. Así que nos propusimos a tenerla, pero no esperábamos que llegara tan rápido a nuestras vidas.
And among all the resolutions for the year 2022, was to get a kitten. A feline that would suit my husband @Aragort and me.
He is passionate about cats and I was raised by a vet, needless to say our love for pets is gigantic. So we set out to have her, but we didn't expect her to come into our lives so quickly.

Y llegó a nosotros el mes pasado, el 5 de abril. Totalmente predestinada. Yo estaba en la peluquería y surgió el tema de las mascotas y mencioné nuestro deseo. Y resulta que, la peluquería estaba dando un grupo de gatitos en adopción ¡perfecto!
Apenas salí y regresé a casa, le conté a mi esposo. La peluquera me envió una foto y de inmediato ambos nos fijamos en la misma gatita.

And she came to us last month, on April 5. Totally predestined. I was at the hair salon and the subject of pets came up and I mentioned our wish. And it turns out, the hairdresser was giving a group of kittens up for adoption - perfect!
As soon as I got out and came home, I told my husband. The hairdresser sent me a photo and immediately we both looked at the same kitten.

Acordamos recibirla al día siguiente y temprano salimos a comprarle todas sus cositas necesarias, para que se sintiera a gusto.
We agreed to receive her the next day and early we went out to buy all her necessary things, so that she felt comfortable.
Cuando nos la dieron, en una manta, no se asustó. Dicen que los gatos perciben las malas vibras en las personas. Notamos que le habían cortado sus bigotes, mi esposo y yo solo nos miramos, pero no dijimos nada.
Sabemos que eso es una maldad para ellos. Los atonta. Jamás le corten sus bigotes a un minino.
Pasó su primer día escondida en una esquina debajo de la cama, hasta que ya para el final, en la noche. Mi esposo la sacó, le hablamos, se calmó, comió y durmió entre nosotros.
Al día siguiente ya estaba haciendo sus necesidades en su caja de arena y jugando con el collar que le compramos.

She spent her first day hiding in a corner under her bed, until late at night. My husband took her out, we talked to her, she calmed down, ate and slept between us.
The next day he was already relieving himself in his litter box and playing with the collar we bought him.
Desde entonces ha crecido. Es fuerte y juguetona, es una gran cazadora. No deja escapar ninguna mosca.
No es una gata temerosa, ni tímida. Es muy resuelta, decimos que es una Alfa.

Le encanta dormir en medio de mi esposo y yo. Es mordelona, sus archienemigos son las pantuflas peludas de él.
He loves to sleep between my husband and me. She is bitchy, her archenemies are his furry slippers.
Entiende cuando le decimos que no y ¡au, duele! Cuando excede su fuerza al morder. Se cree velocista corriendo de un lugar a otro y a pesar de eso es muy ágil para no llevarse nada por delante.
She understands when we say no and oh, it hurts! When she exceeds her strength by biting. She thinks she is a sprinter running from one place to another and despite that she is very agile so as not to take anything ahead of her.
Le gusta sentarse a ver la pantalla mientras mi esposo juega y acostarse en mi pecho cuando estoy en la laptop.
She likes to sit and watch the screen while my husband plays and lay on my chest when I'm on the laptop.
Pensamos que es feliz cuando nos mira fijamente a los ojos, nos lame, pestañea lentamente o nos pone la pancita para sobársela.
Porque sin duda ella es una chispa radiante de felicidad en nuestra vida. Nuestro deseo cumplido de 2022, nuestra confirmación de amor y que todo lo que con amor piensas, lo atraes.
We think he is happy when he looks us straight in the eyes, licks us, blinks slowly or puts his belly to rub it.
Because without a doubt she is a radiant spark of happiness in our lives. Our wish fulfilled for 2022, our confirmation of love and that everything you think with love, you attract.

Hermoso gatita❤️ están super lindas las fotos. Tener un gatito es mi deseo, pero aquí ya hay una que es muy celosa y no admite otros gatos je, je, je.
Espero que en algún momento que puedan mudarse traigan esa felicidad gatuna porque de verdad que nos cambian la rutina. Es lindisimo que tu bebé tenga contacto con una mascota.
