Colonia Tobar
One of the most picturesque places I visited in Venezuela was Colonia Tobar, a city founded by German immigrants in the 19th century. The architecture of the city has nothing to do with the Venezuelan idiosyncrasy. It gives the impression that you are in one of those German country towns.
It is located at an elevation of more than two thousand meters west of the city of Caracas. The travel on the road was very impressive. It looks like a snake that slowly winds its way around the mountains.
The climate of the place is very pleasant and very beneficial for the agricultural products that are planted in the place. There you can find a great variety of gastronomic businesses that offer typical German food. Nor could not miss the delicious craft beer brewed in the area.
