Inside Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish : Monomad Challenge
The Parish of the Sagrado del Corazón de Jesús y San Ignacio de Loyola is located in the municipality of Centro Habana. This church stands out for its majesty, with its neo-gothic style is the tallest in Cuba.
This Saturday we celebrated the baptism of my daughter Sofia. We had been postponing it because of Covid-19 and the quarantine measures . Fortunately, the epidemiological situation has improved . Everyone in the family, including the children, has already received the doses of the vaccine developed in the country. It was a very beautiful ceremony full of symbolism.
I want to share with you these photos taken inside. This is my entry for the #monomad challenge. The beauty of its stained glass windows is impressive. But for me the most beautiful thing is the altar of the Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre, patron saint of Cuba. This is the first photograph that I want to make available to you, at the end I share the color version. I am pleased to share these black and white photos for your enjoyment.
