El Pop Art es una tendencia artística que nació entre los años ‘50 y ‘60 en Inglaterra y EEUU respectivamente. Este tipo de arte tenía como objetivo inicial presentarse como una denuncia del estilo de vida consumista de ese entonces. Su máximo exponente es el estadounidense Andy Warhol y su influencia llegó a la publicidad, comics y objetos que representaban la cultura popular de las masas como lo fueron Coca-Cola, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, la mujer maravilla entre otras. Sin embargo, el Arte Pop evolucionó hasta convertirse en una técnica que nunca ha desaparecido y ahora es parte de la cultura mundial.

Como me encanta toda esta corriente vintage me arriesgué a realizar un maquillaje inspirado en este estilo de Arte Pop. Quise jugar un poco con marcar las facciones con negro, la cara mas blanca que el color de la piel y utilizar tonos vivos, los labios bastante marcados y con brillos. Para darle un toque más chic a la presentación me peiné como en esa época con unos rulos bastante marcados. La verdad fue todo un reto para mí.

Materiales a utilizar :

💋 Corrector
💋 Lápiz corrector
💋 Base líquida
💋 Brochas para polvo, lengua de gato (para base), pincel para cejas.
💋 Lápiz de ojos negro, fucsia y azul
💋 Delineador negro, blanco y fucsia
💋 Sombra blanca, azul y amarilla
💋 Compacto beige y blanco
💋 Pestañas postizas

Tips: antes de maquillarte debes preparar tu rostro con productos que hidraten la piel. Yo me aplico ácido hialurónico o alguna crema hidratante en el rostro. En los labios algún lips hidratante. El acabado del maquillaje será genial.

Maquillaje

Este maquillaje juega bastante con las emociones y los rasgos del rostro. Tienen que estar muy marcados para dar ese toque de caricatura.

1er paso

1. Debes aplicarte el corrector en ojeras, luego la base líquida con la brocha lengua de gato y dar toques suaves.

2. Sella la base con polvo compacto utilizando una brocha tal como se ve en la foto.

3. Luego con la brocha coloca polvo compacto blanco recuerda que debemos dar ese toque de comic.

4. Puedes colocarte ese mismo polvo compacto en el escote en caso de tenerlo.

2do paso

1. Con el delineador de ojos negros remarcar los contornos de la frente y pómulos.

2. Luego remarca los hoyitos de la nariz, a los lados y una rallita en la punta de la nariz.

3. Pintar las cejas con delineador fucsia. Puedes marcar primero con creyón fucsia para dar la forma deseada.

4. Remarcar de negro las cejas.

3er paso

Maquillamos nuestros ojos

1. Con un lápiz amarillo puedes diseñar la forma y luego con un pincel de cejas colocas un poco de base. Esto se hace para que los colores de la sombra se vean más intensos.

2. Luego coloca la sombra amarilla en el arco ciliar poco a poco dando toquecitos.

3. Realiza el diseño con el lápiz azul. Aplica la base en el párpado móvil y la cuenca. Luego
   procedes a colocar la sombra azul.

4to paso

1. Remarcamos el diseño de los ojos con delineador negro.

2. Con un lápiz fucsia realizamos el diseño del ala en el borde inferior del ojo. Podemos realizar el diseño de las tres alas fucsia, amarilla y azul.

3. Rellenamos con sombra.

4. Remarcamos de negro el diseño y terminamos de remarcar la nariz con un ralla vertical.

5to paso

1. Pintamos nuestros labios de fucsia haciendo la forma más exagerada.

2. Remarcamos con negro el contorno y adentro de los labios.

3. Luego con un delineador negro traza una línea fina en el parpado móvil a ras de las pestañas y termínala con un rabillo.

4. Luego montamos las pestañas postizas para dar un toque más dramático a la mirada.

5. Por último con el delineador blanco damos toques de brillo en los labios y nariz.

As I love all this vintage trend I took the risk to do a makeup inspired by this Pop Art style. I wanted to play a little with black to mark the features, the face whiter than the color of the skin and use bright tones, the lips quite marked and with glitter. To give a more chic touch to the presentation I did my hair as it was at that time with quite marked curls. It was quite a challenge for me.

Tips: before applying makeup you should prepare your face with products that moisturize the skin. I apply hyaluronic acid or some moisturizing cream on my face. On the lips I apply some moisturizing lipstick. The makeup finish will be great.

Makeup

This make-up plays a lot with the emotions and the features of the face. They have to be very marked to give that touch of caricature.

1st step

1. Apply concealer to under eye circles, then liquid foundation with the cat tongue brush and dab gently.

Seal the foundation with pressed powder using a brush as shown in the photo.

1. Then with the brush place white compact powder remember that we must give that touch of comic.

2. You can apply the same compact powder on the neckline if you have it.

2nd step

1. With the black eyeliner outline the contours of the forehead and cheekbones.

2. Then highlight the dimples on the nose, on the sides and a small line on the tip of the nose.

3. Paint the eyebrows with fuchsia eyeliner. You can mark first with fuchsia crayon to give the desired shape.

4. Underline the eyebrows with black eyebrow pencil.

3rd step

We make up our eyes

1. With a yellow pencil you can design the shape and then with an eyebrow brush you put a little bit of base. This is done to make the shadow colors look more intense.

2. Then place the yellow shadow on the ciliary arch little by little by dabbing.

3. Make the design with the blue pencil. Apply the base on the mobile eyelid and the socket. Then
   proceed to apply the blue shadow.

4th step

1. Highlight the eye design with black eyeliner.

2. With a fuchsia pencil we make the wing design on the lower edge of the eye. We can make the design of the three wings fuchsia, yellow and blue.

3. Fill in with shadow.

4. We highlight the design with black and we finish highlighting the nose with a vertical line.

5th step

1. We paint our lips in fuchsia making the shape more exaggerated.

2. We highlight with black the contour and inside of the lips.

3. Then with a black eyeliner draw a thin line on the mobile eyelid at the lashes and finish it with a corner.

4. Then we mount the false eyelashes to give a more dramatic touch to the look.

5. Finally with the white eyeliner we give touches of gloss on the lips and nose.
