Bitcoin keeps increasing in terms of Gold as well

Gold is old, it's time for Bitcoin

Not only has bitcoin appreciated tremendously against the dollar over the last decade, but it has gained a ton against gold as well.

In fact the gold/btc chart looks pretty similar to the btc/usd chart.

With new supply continuing to be cut each year I don't see this trend changing any time soon.

Especially in the face of constant or increasing demand like we are seeing right now.

Gold is interesting because when the price goes up more and more mining operations come online and the new supply increases.

Yes there is a fixed supply on earth, but the realized supply each year fluctuates with the price.

Plus there is the issue of new technology opening up new supplies of gold, such as ocean mining as well as asteroid mining.

Long story short, gold is old, it's time for bitcoin.

Gold's long history is why we know it will continue to hold value. Being newer isn't necessarily better. By your logic, Libra is far better than Bitcoin, and that's ridiculous.

Embarrassing, age-old criticisms of gold. Everything you typed here has been debunked, 100 times over, decades ago. This tired old set of half-thoughts is laughable at best.

Like what exactly? That younger investors prefer bitcoin to gold and they are set to inherit trillions over the coming years? Like NASA is paying companies to mine asteroids? Like every time the price of gold goes up, new supply comes onto the market muting price gains? Like how even if gold continues to go up, it won't keep pace with bitcoin, which has been exactly the case over the last decade? Which part this is inaccurate exactly?
