WallStreetBets now talking about Bitcoin?

It was always inevitable

See what I did there?

If you didn't get the joke, it's a play on words from Elon Musk where he tweeted that it was always inevitable that we would be pushed to bitcoin.

My play on words was that it was always inevitable that WallStreetBets would eventually make their way to bitcoin.

While they haven't fully moved into buying bitcoin just yet, and they won't be able to push the price up by more than 3,000% like they did with GME, they did put this out yesterday......

Which was also accompanied by these two tweets as well:

Not sure about you but this sure sounds like they are realizing that it was always about bitcoin.

My guess is that they eventually move their sights to pumping altcoins and bitcoin.

I don't know how much buying power they actually have but they were able to briefly send up DOGE by more than 2,000%, so they have a bit.

Hopefully they don't get beat up too bad on GME and have some capital left to push up bitcoin in the near future.

The chart looks like it is finally setting up to make a run back at those all time highs over the coming weeks.

It's only been 3 weeks since those highs, but it feels like longer! A lot has happened since then.

*Edit I am hearing now that this account may not be affiliated with THE WALLSTREETBETS GROUP, though the account does have over a million followers.

With almost a million followers he's certainly an influential account. That's a financial audience the is primed and ready for an alternative like Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is about to work itself that much deeper into the fabric of society, institutions, corporations, and even governments. All are going to clamor and buy up supply over the next few years. The cats out of the bag! Organizations that slept on Bitcoin in 2017 won't get caught again.

Are they still pumping silver? I noticed it dropped back down over the last few days... I'm wondering if they are just going to come and publicly tell us what they're seriously working on-- now that they have rattled the tigers' cages in such a big way. I would personally be playing some crazy next-level chess right now. I could be overthinking it though. Just my two sats.

According to many posts on Wall Street Bets, they weren't/aren't pumping silver and it was a disinformation/distraction campaign run by wall street to divert money/attention from GME to silver. But I think at least some people were pumping silver briefly on there but who knows anymore? Imagine if a prominent Wall Street Better or two gets bought by some fat cats they could spin the narrative anyway they please.

The realization kicks in slowly , the growth process of the bitcoin has been laced with unpredictability, as it moves at its own pace ,and its features ever strengthened, the realization kicks in slowly..
A revolutionary indeed.

If the largest Wall Street institutions are interested in BTC, it is logical that this anonymous group is also interested. What causes me doubts is that on Reddit wsb there is no one who defines himself as "Chairman" but on Twitter yes, don't you think it's strange?

It is interesting to think how something unrelated to crypto is giving the crypto community a lot of attention. I hope this trickles down to other good projects asides from bitcoin.

This. He has more followers on twitter than their mod account but he's not actually endorsed by them.

Really? With over a million followers he seems to have fooled a lot of people. Either way with that many followers thinking there is some sort of affiliation tweeting about bitcoin is a good thing.

Yes!
But he hasn't fooled anybody, he is just someone part of the movement, and has been for a long time.
He even says in his bio that he is not associated with WSB.

But of course it's great for Bitcoin and cryptos :)

I'm going to have to write an article at this rate. Be careful who you take advice from Lions.

Interesting. So, he has no affiliation at all? Even if that is the case, having over a million followers and tweeting about bitcoin is still pretty helpful, though not quite the same.

It's mind boggling how many people are blindly calling bitcoin a scam and a fad. I've enjoyed every "fake" profit or stake I've made in bitcoin and sh*tcoins over the past few years. I guess if they don't buy, it's more for us. Right?
