after months of planning FINALLY ~ I Visited Merci Dessert Café🥺😍

It is SO worth the wait - and "the" hype is not overrated. What can I say? This café and I - it is love at first bite. 😍

I have quite a couple of snaps in this place so expect a part two (2) blog post about it. 😘 I do not know if the title makes sense but I know I had to put it out there because I highly think that this visit was 'way overdue'!! Okay, so from the top. I badly wanted to visit Merci since 2020 lockdowns.

For some sort of reasons the page's ad keeps on showing my Instagram feed and tempting me with all its strawberry shortcakes and colourful macarons. I did an IG story of it one time and my friend (student who became a close friend) replied to my Story saying she also want to try their pastries! We set a date but we keep on postponing it. 😭

Until such time that I lost my craving for its tempting pastries and cakes. However earlier this year a colleague from work talked about it and raved about going in our workplace. This incident made me wanted to go so badly! I arranged plans with the gang at work but again the Universe may not want us to go arghhh because it kept on getting postponed. 😭

So September came and I told my friend at work, Joy, that I BADLY want to go to Merci anytime soon this month because I really had to go!! I was so happy to know that she was also keen on going so it was all set. Since the French café was fancy we had to dress our part, you know what I mean? That's why we had our little black dresses out and about that Friday.

I WAS IN BLISS THAT FINALLY (omg) I WAS ABLE TO FINALLY (finally) visit Merci!!!! Was it worth it? Well I will tell you all my food reviews in the next blog so stay tuned dear Hiver! 😘🤍✨
