Samgyupsal, Chicken, Cheese, Wine and Birthday Cake Kind-of-Night!🍗🥓🎂🧀🍾🍷

Here is a throwback to last week Thursday's birthday blast of my sister @sassy.cebuana - a simple birthday celebration which was held at our sister Joyce's house. Too bad it was a last minute dinner party so a few of our siblings were unable to attend. But it was good though that our parents went, and my mama brought my fur baby Pebbles.

My sister didn't plan on celebrating as we just came from a family weekend trip recently and for her that was already a part of the birthday bash. But the last minute of 27th October ate Joy2 said we can have a simple dinner at her humble abode. ❤️

After work I went to the Capitol to help my sister Rica carry her cake and gifts. We went to 24 Chicken to buy boneless chicken goodness and to Pearl Meatshop for the meat and vegetables and kimchi.

We had unlimited samgyupsal with chicken and beer - it is a Korean night after all! 😅 We also had a charcutterie board compete with different kinds of cheese, grapes, strawberries, olives, variety of nuts, biscuits, chocolates, cold cuts, pretzels, and honey sticks! It was a birthday present from one of the close friends of my sister. It was perfect timing that Ate Joy2 has a white wine at home - cheese and wine what a perfect pairing! 😍

We sang happy birthday as soon as the cake was out of the box after we filled ourselves with yummy-licious dinner! 🎂 It was a great night to celebrate with the family❤️ (belated) happiest birthday again, ate cacai! @sassy.cebuana 🥳💙
