#SupportLocal Milk Tea Series 002 | Meeska Mooska Milktea House
What's up, Hivers? Hello! As of this writing, my internet connection has been on and off, as a result of the super typhoon Rai. That's why I want to apologize if I'm not as active in replying to comments as I used to be, as I'm struggling with the internet. 😭 Anyway, a quick update: Last weekend, we have moved from our temporary shelter back to our house, thank God! There's roof in our house and no more flooding/leaks. We are slowly working on the renovation of some walls and tiles that were damaged. THANK YOU ALL HERE IN HIVE WHO HAVE HELPED! 🙏♥️
For today's post, I thought I wanted to share another #SupportLocal Milk Tea series blog. When I was in Minglanilla, I tried the milk tea of Meeska Mooska, which is a Mickey Mouse-themed store.
I have seen many posts in Facebook about this milk tea shop and it's been so long that I was planning to try it out, but the distance kept putting this plan off. From our place here in Cebu City to Minglanilla it's about 18 kilometers, so yeah, it's really far. I've read good reviews and feedback from people who have tried their milktea, so that piqued my interest. I was happy that I WAS ABLE TO FINALLY VISIT the place. Yay!
I visited the place after a very tiring day at work. I was so busy and did not even have a break in between because of the deliverables I needed to get done. I was looking forward for a refreshing drink and a time by myself after all the chaos brought about the typhoon and a hard day's work. I felt stressed out, and one of the things that would help me relax is to be in a Cafe and drink coffee, tea or milk tea. In this case, the nearest "chill-out place" in Minglanilla was Meeska Mooska.
I like the interior of the place, it's hip and seems like a cool place to hang. It's a bit close to a minimalistic style I guess. The staff are friendly and smiling. The air conditioning is good, considering that they were just on a generator set by the time I visited. I like that their milk tea is affordable, even though they have a dine-in space. Yay! I like the fact that their tea is not powered and they really brew the tea leaves. Healthy, The milk teas I have tried are Cheesecake and Chocolate. For their cheesecake, I had zero sugar in my order, and it tastes really good, just right sugar as well. The chocolate one had 50% sugar that's why I found it too sweet. So that's why I recommend that you stick with 25% sugar or less when ordering drinks that have flavors in them (just a suggestion). If you're the type who loves sugar, then I think it's good that you go for 100%. Overall, Meeska Mooska is a place I'd suggest for a good cup of milk tea! Let us #SupportLocal ♥️

Yes nowadays let's support local jod!! Would love to try their milktea there!! The place looks cute and I love the theme since it's all mickey mouse! The owner must be a Disney lover😍🤗
Great to see you back!!! It's nice to see you supporting and promoting local businesses, I think a lot more people should do that to help entrepreneurs in the Philippines. The prices are also relatively cheap compared to other milk tea places!
I love the Mickey Mouse theme of the place. It brings so many childhood memories. Nostalgic! It's nice that you have made a continuous post in support of small businesses in Cebu. Great job Jong!
