I'll never understand having so much $HIVE power and not dishing out as many upvotes as I could...
You have the opportunity to literally...Change peoples lives...And yet, most reserve their votes for their buddies or rarely use their voting power.

Wide distribution has always been key on Hive
I wish that was true.

That's my beef with $HIVE only a select few of the large token holders have that approach. The rest don't support the community at all.
Well, it is true just that some whales do not feel that way. I struggle with that cause, in the end, it is their money, and they should do what they want, but I don't see the point of being on Hive without being part of what this community means.
I also believe it is not a problem only for some whales. I don't remember how much, but an important part of the Hive Power is not currently being used to curate, and it is even bigger when it comes to voting proposals and witnesses.
I remember seeing this in one of Dalz's posts.
My argument is if you want a better world, which most who got into this blockchain stuff in the first place claim to all want...
Why not change people's lives daily here on chain? They have such an amazing opportunity to literally, create life changing income for so many here.
And yeah man, the side issue which would be the main one I agree...Is the voting for witnesses and proposals. Because if they give more power to everyone, they lose their control.
That is a good point i didn't think about. I think we need a weekly podcast about these subjects on Hive.
