Inktober 2022: Day 1 Gargoyle

Greetings dear community, welcome back, two days ago the month of October began and with it came inktober 2022, I am encouraged to participate although I have been arriving a little late, I hope to catch up throughout the month, day 1 of inktober 2022 corresponds to Gargoyle, I came up with the idea to create something beautiful and a little dark, I was watching some tutorials on digital inking and if I found good tutorials, put them into practice a little and then come join me to see part of the process and if you like to leave some advice I will receive them...

Proceso | Process
Para este tipo de arte tambien ocupo mi boceto alocado que me sirve de guia para el arte final, cree una calabera humana con cuernos y alas que representan una gargola dos manos sobre su rostro y ya estaria listo:
For this type of art I also used my crazy sketch that serves as a guide for the final art, I created a human skull with horns and wings that represent a gargoyle with two hands on his face and it would be ready:
Espera que aun no he terminado, es momento de limpiar un poco ese boceto, baje la opacidad de mi boceto inicial y en una nueva capa empece a agregar lineas mas precisas, aunque sigo inistiendo que mi pulso no es del todo perfecto jeje:
Wait I'm not done yet, it's time to clean up that sketch a bit, lower the opacity of my initial sketch and in a new layer I started to add more precise lines, although I keep insisting that my pulse is not quite perfect hehe:
Es momento de definir de donde viene la luz en una capa nueva y con opacidad baja, empezamos a definir las sombras en nuestro personaje, agregue esto en zonas donde habia profundidad como en los orificios de los ojos y boca y tambien agregue un poco en zonas donde puede que no llegue la luz para ir creando un poco de volumen:
It is time to define where the light comes from, in a new layer and with low opacity we begin to define the shadows in our character, add this in areas where there was depth such as in the holes of the eyes and mouth and also add a little in areas where the light may not reach to create a little volume:
Es hora del trabajo dificil, basicamente esto consiste en buscar formas en este caso en la calabera e ir agregando lineas en sentido de la forma. Ya en este paso habia subido la opacidad de la capa anterior y quedo completamente en negro:
It's time for the hard work, basically this consists of looking for shapes in this case in the skull and crossbones and adding lines in the direction of the shape. Already in this step I had raised the opacity of the previous layer and it was completely black:
Despues de haber aplicado el proceso de lineas en todo el dibujo ya estaba listo para la exhibicion me gusto mucho el resultado final:
After having applied the line process throughout the drawing, it was ready for the exhibition. I really liked the final result:
