A little bit about the program:

This is an international cooking competition that takes place in different countries. It was first aired in England in the 1990s and since then it has become a very popular series with a large audience. The contest brings together several amateurs passionate about cooking, to compete against each other in various culinary challenges where they must demonstrate their knowledge, originality and skills. The winner is the one who makes the best dish, and the final objective is to obtain the title of best Master Chef Spain along with a cash prize 🏆 💰.

Of all the editions of this reality show that is broadcasted in different regions, my favorite is the one from Spain, which has been on the air since 2013. I have seen each of its seasons, currently the eleventh one is on air. Although it is not broadcast on national TV in my country (Cuba 🇨🇺) it is a contest is followed by many Cubans, and you can always get it through the Weekly Package 😯😯😯 (The Cuban Weekly Package is a collection of audiovisuals in digital format that is distributed informally and is not available in the national media).

Throughout this time there have been different versions of it, such as Master Chef Junior where the best child chef is chosen, a very tender program full of witticisms. There is also Master Chef Celebrity where several celebrities compete against each other for the title of the best celebrity. And Master Chef Grandparents, which is one of the ones I like the most, where the traditional cuisine of our grandparents is defended, which is the starting point of modern cuisine, and pays tribute to all those loving grandparents who have shown that age is not an impediment to set goals in life ❤️.

What captivates me most about the contest:

Something that attracts me a lot of this program and that is why I have it as my preferred one, is the charisma of both the judges and all its participants. About the judges (Pepe Rodriguez, Jordi Cruz and Samantha Vallejo) I have to say that I can't imagine others. In each season one empathizes with them, as they are very charismatic people who bring a great sense of humor to the show, besides being talented and recognized chefs of Spanish gastronomy, knowledgeable about the culinary culture of their country and the world.

The diversity of its contestants in terms of age and personalities, as well as the degree of complexity of the challenges generate situations of strong competitiveness among them that become somewhat complex at times. However, this dynamic is precisely what gives the program its spicy and different touch, full of witticisms and almost always with good Spanish humor that makes it very entertaining and enjoyable.

Cubans feel great affinity for Spain and its people, due to the cultural and family heritage we have always shared with that country. In addition, we also have great similarities in terms of gastronomy. Personally, I identify a lot with the dishes prepared in the program, although sometimes the way to prepare them is a bit complex, but that is also the interesting thing about Master Chef, since besides entertaining, it is a good option to learn about culinary techniques, nutrition, new elaborations and the traditional gastronomy of different regions. So besides being entertaining, it is instructive. Although I have never tried to prepare one of the dishes presented in the contest (often due to lack of resources, it is not always easy to get the ingredients in Cuba) I have learned many new things, above all on topics related to baking, which are the most complex and my favorite events.

I also really like the guest chefs, renowned experts in the world of gastronomy, who come to the program to share their knowledge and experience with the contestants. And that is another of my favorite parts, as I have been able to meet renowned multi-awarded figures, who are referents of Spanish and international gastronomy.

Making the final recount, what attracts me most about the Master Chef Spain contest is:

-The exciting and challenging challenges that test the talent and skills of each contestant and drive them to be better at each installment.

-The quality and charisma of the judges and the opportunity to learn from the experience of the renowned chefs and celebrity guests.

-The knowledge about international gastronomy, nutrition and the latest and most innovative cooking techniques taught in each episode.

Master Chef is a show that is gaining popularity with each new season, conquering a large number of viewers, and I hope it continues to delight its audience for a long time to come!

This is my review of the show, and I hope it helps to encourage those who are not yet familiar with this competition to enjoy it as much as I did.

Me encantan los programas de cocina. Soy una amante de la gastronomía, aunque admito que prefiero más saborear los platos que cocinarlos, (sobre todo si no soy yo quien los prepara jeje). A veces la obligación de cocinar diariamente hace que no lo disfrute tanto como me gustaría, pero en general todo lo relacionado a la gastronomía me resulta muy atractivo. He visto varios concursos, pero hay uno que nunca me pierdo y que he seguido desde su primera temporada, me refiero a:
Master Chef España.

Un poco acerca del programa:

Este es un concurso de cocina internacional que se realiza en diferentes países. Se transmitió por primera vez en Inglaterra en los años noventa y desde entonces se ha convertido en una serie muy difundida y con gran audiencia. El concurso reúne a varios aficionados apasionados de la cocina, para competir entre ellos en varios desafíos culinarios donde deben demostrar su conocimiento, originalidad y habilidades. El ganador es quien elabore el mejor plato, y el objetivo final es obtener el título de mejor Máster Chef España junto a un premio en metálico 🏆 💰.

De todas las ediciones de este reality show que se emite en diferentes regiones mi preferido es el de España, el cual lleva en transmisión desde el año 2013. He visto cada una de sus temporadas, actualmente está en transmisión la número once. Aunque no se transmite en la TV nacional de mi país (Cuba 🇨🇺) es un concurso es seguido por muchos cubanos, y siempre se puede conseguir mediante el Paquete Semanal 😯😯😯 (El Paquete semanal cubano, es una colección de audiovisuales en formato digital que se distribuye de manera informal, y que no se encuentra disponible en los medios de comunicacion nacionales).

A lo largo de todo este tiempo se han realizado diferentes versiones del mismo como, Master Chef Junior donde se escoge el mejor cocinero infantil, un programa muy tierno y lleno de ocurrencias. También está Master Chef Celebrity donde compiten entre sí varios famosos por el título a la mejor celebridad. Y Master Chef abuelos que es uno de los que más me gusta, donde se defiende la cocina tradicional de nuestros abuelos que es el punto de partida de la cocina moderna, y se le rinde homenaje a todos esos amorosos abuelos que han demostrado que la edad no es un impedimento para ponerse metas en la vida ❤️.

Lo que más me cautiva del concurso:

Algo que me atrae mucho de este programa y es por lo que lo tengo como mi preferido, es el carisma tanto de los jueces como de todos sus participantes. Sobre los jueces (Pepe Rodríguez, Jordi Cruz y Samantha Vallejo) tengo que decir que no me imagino a otros. En cada temporada uno va empatizando con ellos, ya que son personas muy carismáticas que le aportan mucho sentido de humor al show, además de ser talentosos y reconocidos chefs de la gastronomía española, conocedores de la cultura culinaria de su país y del mundo.

La diversidad de sus concursantes en cuanto a edad y personalidades, así como el grado de complejidad de los desafíos generan situaciones de fuerte competitividad entre ellos que se vuelven un tanto complejas en ocasiones. Sin embargo, esa dinámica es precisamente lo que le da al programa su toque picante y diferente, lleno de ocurrencias y casi siempre del buen humor español que lo hace muy entretenido y ameno.

Los cubanos sentimos gran afinidad por España y su gente, debido a la herencia cultural y familiar que hemos compartido siempre con ese país. Además, tenemos también grandes similitudes en cuanto a gastronomía. En lo personal me identifico muchos con los platos que se preparan en el programa, aunque a veces la forma de elaborarlos sea un tanto compleja, pero eso también es lo interesante de Master Chef ya que además de entretener es una buena opción para aprender sobre técnicas de cocina, nutrición, nuevas elaboraciones y de la gastronomía tradicional de diferentes regiones. Por lo que además de entretenido es instructivo. Aunque nunca he intentado preparar un plato de los que se presentan en el concurso (muchas veces por falta de recursos, no siempre es fácil conseguir los ingredientes en Cuba) he aprendido muchas cosas novedosas, sobre todo en temas referente a repostería, que son las pruebas más complejas y mis preferidas.

También me gustan mucho los chefs invitados, reconocidos cocineros expertos en el mundo de la gastronomía, que acuden al programa a compartir sus conocimientos y experiencia con los concursantes. Y esa es también otra de mis partes favoritas, ya que he podido conocer a reconocidas figuras multipremiadas, que son referentes de la gastronomía española e internacional.

Haciendo el recuento final, lo que más me atrae del concurso de Master Chef España es:

-Los emocionantes y desafiantes retos que ponen a prueba el talento y las habilidades de cada concursante y que los impulsa a ser mejores en cada entrega.

-La calidad y el carisma de sus jueces y la oportunidad de poder aprender de la experiencia de los reconocidos chef y celebridades invitadas.

-Los conocimientos sobre gastronomía internacional, nutrición y las ultimas y más novedosas técnicas de cocina que enseñan en cada episodio.

Master Chef es un programa que va ganando popularidad con cada nueva temporada, conquistando a un gran número de espectadores, ¡Deseo que siga deleitando a su audiencia por mucho tiempo más!
