Making Art While Time is Vacant

Hi! What stuffs do you do when your time is vacant? Some of us are scrolling in our social media accounts to check some new updates. But the other day, I think I did one productive art.

Like this:

I drew my friend Ahyen as she requested.

First, Ahyen asked my sister @celyxzstin if she can draw one of her photo. My sister is not sure if she can draw it due to her busy schedule and lack of phone storage, so she asked me to draw her instead. Ahyen love it too.

I’ll share it to you if how I did this digital drawing which called vector’s art.

The first thing I did was selecting my pen. I usually use dip pen for drawing the lines but for this drawing, I used felt tip pen soft, this can find inside ibispaint x app.

I drew first in the face then to the body or the dress, the hand and the book she's holding.

When I finished drawing all the lines, I started coloring it using felt tip pen also. I just change the size of the pen for widen colored space.

I colored her skin first, light brown color for her skin.

After coloring the black hair, I used yellow color for her dress.

And of course the black color of her hair.

Now, my focus is the book. I used dip pen soft in drawing the cover of the book.

Yellow for the theme or title of the book.

In coloring the front art of the book, I used airbrush normal.

Putting the background cover of the picture.

I colored her point nail with white, and her necklace with yellow, same to her watch.

I have a lightroom application so I decided to put some effects there.

So this is it.
