The outdoors is dark
detecting the nighttime wind
I pause and reflect for a bit
Aiming upward
and look at the splendor of night sky.

You complete the brightness with your presence,
assisting the moon in making shines
From above you wonderfully glitters,
Making the scene much better.

You are not as famous as others
similar to how the sun provides more light
and the moon, which is full and shines at night
But star, you're wonderful, so don't bother.

Some might be envious of you
given its proximity to the moon
Some can shine a light
But you, has access to the beauty of night.

As long as you stay
Up above the dark of night
And the twinkling of your light,
Is just like a diamond floating in the sky.
