A cool cat house
A cool cat house
Hello friends, today I will show you how I made a house for a stray cat, it is an old cat that has no owner and nobody wants it anymore, it has spent a lot of time on the sidewalk of the house.
The whole house is made of recycled wood that was given to me in a carpentry shop, they are slats of different types of wood; I made the walls from a cardboard that they also gave me and that was from a team's packaging and is quite thick and resistant.
Initially I made the base, I assembled it with slats forming 90 degree angles to resist, for this I used small nails and white carpenter's rubber; You have to be patient since the wood must be cut to the extent that it is needed.
Despite the fact that the wooden slats are thin, with the nails and the rubber, the structure is gaining resistance, help me to assemble it with dams and fasteners, allowing it to dry to continue the work later.
Once the main structure is assembled, the walls are lined with cardboard, thin wooden slats are placed to serve as a stop and not go past the walls, it is cut to size, and to give it greater support, place slats in the middle to that does not bend
All the walls on the outside I painted them with a white paint, from a paint that had been left over; the exposed wooden slats were covered with a resin made from polystyrene with some solvent, thus protecting it from humidity and rain.
Before placing the front wall, the figure of the entrance is cut, in this case a figure of a cat, so that there is no confusion, if you like you can make some windows, in my case I did not do it because at night it is very cold.
