European spaceship

In French Guiana located in South America, the first combined test is being carried out in preparation for the maiden flight of the Arlane 6, which will be Europe's new generation launch vehicle.

This test confirms the operation of the operations and electrical and mechanical equipment necessary for the integration of the upper part of the launch vehicle, the Ariane 6 is designed to carry out all kinds of missions to all orbits, it presents a modular design with two versions, the Ariane 62 and two with two P120 engines and a takeoff weight of 530 tons and the Ariane 64 with four P120 engines and a takeoff weight of 860 tons.

To make a comparison with another rocket that we talk a lot about, the Ariane 64 would have similar performance to SpaceX's Falcon 9, this raises the question of whether Europe can finally have its own manned spacecraft, because despite the fact that the European space agency is for I suppose the second space power in the world, it turns out that it is the only one of the great ones and I am referring to the US, Russia and China that lacks manned spacecraft to send astronauts to the international space station basically depends on Russia although this year too started using SpaceX services.

This is something that I hope will change in the future because by size and budget the European space agency should one day become independent and have its own spacecraft.
