The results will be presented at that international press conference next Thursday, May 12, it is something that really leaves us very intrigued, what could it be, it will be a simultaneous international conference, there will be scientists presenting this, from Washington DC, in Santiago de Chile , in Mexico City, in Tokyo and Taipei and I think some other cities.

The achievement has been possible thanks to the event or event horizon telescope, which, although the name sounds singular, is not a single telescope, but a set of eight telescopes located on the ground and distributed throughout the planet, its structure It is like the one above, they are distributed throughout the planet and in this way they manage to have a vision of the size of the earth, it is the maximum in size that we can do right now until we manage to send telescopes into space and coordinate them with each other, which would be the next advance.

Until relatively recently it was thought that black holes did not exist, it was a theoretical object but tests, investigations and facts have shown that they do exist and in fact they are a fundamental part of the functioning of the cosmos; a black hole is a place in space where gravity is so intense that not even light can get out that's why they are black; They are so dark that they do not project anything, they are empty, they must be conceived not as something black and dark but as a complete void that exists in that empty place in the cosmos because it absorbs everything since gravity is so strong that matter is compressed into an extremely small space which is called a singularity.

This can happen when a massive star dies, for example, and because the light cannot come out because we cannot see it, but we can capture it thanks to the phenomena that occur in its environment.
