Saludos Amigos de #Hivemotors! Después de un tiempo sin escribir por acá quisiera compartir con ustedes un simple mantenimiento de dos vehículos diferentes como es el cambio de las luces traseras.

Este es un procedimiento que debería ser sencillo para cualquier vehículo pero la forma de colocar este tipo de faros dependerá del modelo que tengas.

Las Luces Traseras

Quisiera comenzar que los automóviles a los que hago referencia ambos usan bombillos de dos contactos para la luz trasera, pues tiene doble función, la de luz de freno y la de luz trasera nocturna, estos cuando son los originales pueden durar mucho tiempo pero si se dañan pueden quedar dando una sola función (por ejemplo de luz nocturna y no de luz de freno) cuando se daña un solo filamento, lo cual evita que el conductor se de cuenta al momento de la falla, la cual puede incluso producir accidente, por esto recomiendo en la inspección rutinaria que hacemos a los autos, al menos una vez por semana revisar el funcionamiento de estás luces, bien sea que se pida a alguien que vea desde la parte posterior mientras uno acciona el freno o ver uno mientras la otra persona lo pulsa.

Ademas este tipo de fallo aunque parezca muy sencillo puede ocasionar problemas, en mi caso el problema era que el bombillo había comunicado las dos fases o funciones del mismo lo que ocasionaba que todas las luces del carro se encendieran al momento de frenar por lo cual si les llega a pasar algo parecido antes de ir a un mecánico revisen sus bombillos traseros y podría ahorrar mucho porque una falla así puede llevar a que los engañen cobrando mucho más de lo que lleva en reparaciones.

El cambio del bombillo

Pues bien como indique en el párrafo inicial, aprovechando la situación decidí realizar el cambio de bombillo a los dos autos un elantra y un Ford fiesta, para evitar problemas y estar seguro que los bombillos son nuevos y no deberían fallar pronto (aunque no hay que descuidarse)

En el caso del Elantra este tiene en la parte del maletero una compuerta de plástico que permite el acceso directo a los bombillos sin quitar el faro o su cubierta, lo cual es muy conveniente y permite el cambio de estos en unos breves momentos.

Por otro lado en el caso del Ford Fiesta, es diferente, pues no tiene una apertura similar y se debe sacar el faro para lo cual hay tornillo que se ven a simple vista, y otros que están en la parte interior del maletero, los cuales se deben remover, en este punto hay que tener sumo cuidad pues los faros para mantenerse en su lugar disponen de unas guías que se adaptan directamente en la carrocería y si tienen mucho tiempo colocados los faros, no son fáciles de sacar.

Esto puede llevar un poco de tiempo y paciencia para personas con poca pericia como es mi caso pero lo importantes es lograr ubicar el ángulo y la fuerza adecuada para poder extraer los faros sin dañar nada, pero acá no acaba el trabajo despues hay que desarmar el faro con 4 tornillo que tiene dispuestos para ello y allí es que se tiene acceso al bombillo, (en mi caso tuve que limpiar la zona) se reemplaza y se prueba, (yo conecte el faro descubierto y realice la prueba antes de volver a armar). El Amar es más sencillo, se verifica que una forma que protege el faro de la humedad este bien colocada, se arma el faro con los 4 tornillos, se colocan en su lugar con ayuda de las guías y luego se colocan los tornillos tanto internos como externos del faro.
