Guild Report + Dabbling Into More "Rebellion"

png_20231022_101102_0000.png

I've been playing in the Guilds, it's been tougher than it was in the past. I think there is an influx of newer places now joining every day, and it's no more as smooth as it used to be. Although you can mostly tell if your opponent is going to be tougher than you think by looking at their collection Power.

While collection Power is no longer a big deal, it still represents the depth and selection choices of your opponent. Having a 200k collection Power deck and facing a player with 900k collection Power, means one thing; your opponent has arrays of cards at their disposal and they may have better experience than you because they've had more card exposure which makes them better at playing the rulesets.

In Just 20% of times have I beaten players with better collection Power than I have, and these days I'm mostly paired against opponents with better CP. But, winning some and losing more is a learning experience. Sometimes we do well individually in my Guild, sometimes we collectively don't, some players have good games in some fray and sometimes we don't all get lucky.

However, making some SPS and getting access to the most nefarious cards in the game (gladius cards) is more than enough.

So here we have it. This is my report for two previous Guild meetings. I haven't gotten enough merits. Turns out that merit is the new gold now. I didn't get enough to buy some more cases, but I can say that adding the Gladius cards to my gameplay has made it very easy for me to compete, especially with people who own the same cards and also some particular rulesets.

For example, the Quora Towershead is my most dangerous and most influential gladius card, because when I deploy it against some rulesets, my chances of victory are almost 90% unless my opponent decides to pull up with even superior tactics, which is almost unlikely. I have been very lucky in my last two Gladius case openings. I've got two gold foil in my last 3 case opening, and I've burned one to actually get into rebellion.

I noticed something, a lot of people are currently not buying cards at the moment, I put up two of my "one" BCX legendaries in the market and even reduced the market price but they still never sold, it's quite worrisome, but then it might just be the new interest in another generation of cards or it's just the market that's negatively reacting. But, I decided to flip some assets on hive engine, got myself 4800 DEC and One voucher, and decided to buy another rebellion pack.

I think I have to have up to 10 packs before the end of the presale to qualify for Grimbardum Smith. I don't think I will do that. However, there's no ruling out buying more packs till before the original sale is over. So, I'll have to watch and see. Another thing is possible, the packs might lose the 5k DEC pack sale value over time.

Well, people may not buy cards because they may be dicey about it but when they see how others hype it in future, they may buy

Exactly, I think this is why it's been difficult to sell some of my CL cards

Yes, but it's better to sell now than when the new edition comes out, then prices will drop more than they do now.

Nobody will really know where the prices will go but I plan on getting Rebellion packs for brawl/ranked battles. I don't really plan on reselling those packs. It does make things quite tough though.

Quora is pretty powerful but I find that Gobson is my preferred earth gladiator when possible.

It's true, prices are not certain these days. Buying rebellion pack now might be necessary, because it might just begin to shape the narrative of the competition.

As for me, I prefer Quora, the Gobson is too limited with the health.

I think this entire month will be dedicated to the collection of DEC and voucher to purchase Rebellion Packs. It is then the occasion to see many more assets put in the market in order to cummulate many Tokens for the presales. Competition on the cards market is terrible and the price of legendary warriors started to drop.
I am lucky that I have staked many DEC before the event.
You could get your fund from a liquidity pools if you have placed assets over there.
Happy pack purchase
Peace

We're seeing new things coming into the game now and people's interest is coming back, so we're going to see prices go up a lot in the near future.
