How is AI replacing YOU in 2026?

I saw the post of a YouTuber who owns a documentary channel, he talked about someone cloning his YouTube channel and making money off it. He wasn't happy that that was happening and really hated AI so much for it.

He hated the idea that AI could do so much, including cloning and replicating the works of others and even making it better than the original owner of the idea and work. So this person who is complaining must've used AI at some point in their lives and it definitely made their life easier, they've used it either for their son's homework or used it to improve their lives at some point.

They've benefited from it, and now it is actually taking away the proof of their originality and the exclusivity that comes with owning that type of content. This is the sad reality about AI. Whether you're a geologist, a programmer or a maybe a top secret professional, AI is getting becoming better everyday at actually doing your job better than you.

Takes a deep thinker to realize this

Maybe not a lot, just enough that it might actually replace you fully in 10 years time. This doesn't mean that AI is inherently bad. See, there is no tool created by humans that is actually bad. From guns, grenades and even something as harmless as AI.

The problem is always the intent and how people use it. The earliest forms of AI were created to be a human assistant just like how we saw robots and the models that just made life and work easier.

The intent was to do stuff that no one wanted to do, but in 2026, AI is now doing things that even regular people are actually doing for job and work.

Saturation and Cost

The jobing aspects of life is already relatively difficult, and suffers from saturation, but just imagine creators making AI that provides human workflow and even do it better than people for a relatively cheaper cost.

AI is not perfect and a lot of models are still very expensive, but the owners of these AIs understands the needs of their customers. They take the models and the data of people and they understand that people want to do more for relatively less and this is why they're making these models.

Affordability is what is replacing YOU

The aim is not to changes lives or make things easier for you, the aim is always to make sure that people can choose to pay for AI models became they're scared of choosing for options that are expensive, and this is how AI is exactly stealing jobs. They're not stealing because they're better, they're actually doing it because they're cheaper.

No one will choose AI workflow that should be handled by a human if it's almost the same cost, and this is how competitions are being destroyed. People will continue to choose human workflow especially because let's be factual nothing beats the "human feel".

It's the same in every sector of life. Competition is what brings saturation and beats things like exclusivity. For example a person who has some tech skills can easily build things that other professionals can, simply by knowing or using the right AI models.

No "good or bad"

This is not bad, it's just that this saturation is widely powered by the need for affordability. Professional have always been expensive to afford, and this has been lately reduced by how AI can provide so much competition and value for even less.

So basically everyone is technically being replaced, it might not feel like it, but this the truth. At some point in time everyone gets affected no matter how they've mastered their craft or how efficient, something cheaper can be seen as "more valuable" even though this isn't true.

People simply don't calculate value by just looking at value alone, value is also measured by affordability and this is one of the biggest ways which AI is stealing Jobs: providing cheaper alternative which you cannot do anything to tackle.
