LPUD: The Freedom & Flexibility Of Being In Charge.

It's the Leo power-up day and once more I've staked 100 Leo to take me to over 8.6k staked Leo. I totaled an average of 50 Leo stake per week, which means I staked 200 Leo within a month, added to the 100 Leo I added up LPUD and that's a total of 300 Leo staked in a month, I haven't calculated the one Leo I irregularly stake at intervals and when I do, this might take me up to 330 Leo stake in a month.

Well, amidst all the SBF and FTX issues, people are beginning to question where it's safe since Luna isn't, FTX isn't, in fact, crypto.com isn't, amidst their gate.io saga, but a lot of people are asking the right question without doing the right research and this is why I think 6 months from now, some people will be back and keeping a huge chunk of money in centralized exchanges as if nothing has ever even happened before.

Why?

The illusion of safety in numbers

This is because people are not going out of their comfort zone. Everyone wants to be on exchanges that parade safety and security on the front. I remembered SBF doing an interview with NAS DAILY and he was saying he'd give away all their wealth to charity at one point in time.

I mean, why wouldn't you want to trust your money with someone who seems as selfless on the surface? It's easy to keep your money with baby-faced poster boys running exchanges when they don't know that being so responsible makes them big players in Crypto whose positive or negative decisions could influence growth on a massive scale.

This people don't understand responsibility

I mean, being responsible for people's Money should make someone as SBF a guardian of not just crypto but a forerunner of crypto in the endless quest for mass adoption, but yet, they've managed to run ponzi schemes with people's money, bringing their humanistic taint on Crypto, thereby becoming the very thing the traditional money system has become over the years.

This means that centralized exchanges are susceptible to things like this. SBF was playing judge, jury, and executioner, never checking the consequences of his actions, I mean, was there even a backup plan in case everything goes south?

NO!!!

I guess It's always about building an Indestructible Plan A which fell like a pack of cards

LPUD, staking, More Staking, No Fear

This is one aspect to consider as being in charge of people's money and running a ponzi with it totally negates one of the issues that the technology behind Crypto is trying to solve. I mean, look at hive, I just did stake of Leo for the LPUD, I mean, hell, I can decide to still power down my funds and do with it as I like. This safety gives me the confidence that irrespective of any internal issues, I always have my keys and I can always access my coin.

Nevertheless, I feel that people who lost money aren't guilty of premeditatedly losing, they're just guilty of not being alert and looking beyond CEXs especially when they have a lot of Crypto to HODL. However the crypto space is huge, and sometimes it's important to look at the decentralized side. Crypto isn't just about buying Bitcoin and holding it on binance, no.

The flexibility Of Being In Control

Anyway, this turmoils happens, giving amazing leverage that even with all the downsides, the hive blockchain scores a shiny star and we know that this is a big one. I staked my Leo this morning with a 100% mindset of security and support for the growing system. For people who have been writing shit about hive, I hope you take the time to see that we're building, and "slow growth" doesn't mean "no growth".

My resolve to power up hive and stay in the system has been strengthened. In fact, the whole saga makes you realize that the grass is never greener on the other side even if we know decentralization has its downsides too. Cheers to a massive LPUD day, keep building and accumulating little wins.

I've been building that Leo stake since may 2020, also I bought some decent chunk when I started so, it wasn't easy as well too. It takes to to accumulate and build.

Oh wow that’s great. I guess I need a lot of dedication and consistency to be able to do that. Today I’ve powered up 170 and next month I hope I can power up close to 300.

Hahaha actually I bought some decent chunk of leo in 2020. So about 2000 or so I guess? So, I've been building with it ever since then. It's super easy when you buy at the beginning to boost the growth.

People are easily blinded by the surface personality of individuals. Even I at one point was moved by SBF and his philanthropic pursuits. But the bell has tolled and the surface has been ripped apart. I wish it was easier to learn from this situations because people somehow keep repeating the same mistake. Decentralization is a better option.

Generally I guess people who have something to hide are mostly the ones who are engrossed in philanthropic acts. I saw the video with NASDAILY and once again it show that we can never really trust the personalities of people on the surface

Slow growth ´does not means no growth oo but some people still won´t understand that. I really pity those who still trust these CEXS and would still take their money there even after what has happened. Decentralized exchange can be the safest and this is why I don´t mind bringing all my money here to stake and keep growing. I am securing my assets and at the same time supporting Hive and its communities.

Khal said yesterday that, maybe it's a good thing hive is still an underdog. Maybe with time we would be ready to introduce ourselves to the world. So, we're growing no matter the pave.

I love Khal's perspective of Hive being the underdog. And because of this, we should keep working bit by bit in the shadow before showing ourselves to the world. It would be too late for some who thought it didn't matter.

Hive is freedom and Hive offers control of your own crypto destiny. It's all right there out in front and all they have to do is take action and join Hive. Happy #LPUD to you! :)

Man at the rate you’re moving, you’re going to be an orca of both the native and layer 2 platforms. 8.6K LP is a big achievement, especially considering that you’re stacking up just as much on your HP itself. Not to mention splinterlands and other assets you’re diversifying into. You’re doing really great, man.

As for the case of FTX and all that saga, I don’t have anything new to say about it anymore, lol.
