The Internet: A Big Player In Figuring Yourself Out?

We have built the internet to not just be a tool of accessibility to other opportunities, rather we've remodeled it to become our second reality. Because of this, it has now become a huge aspect of determining some of the most precarious situations in our lives.

Because it's an external voice we can never dismiss, we sometimes seek the voice of the internet, especially when we're stuck and seeking answers and validation for the choices we've made. In this video, I talked about the positives and address so many real situations where people have had the internet redefine their choice of career, and profession, and how they take this further into monetization.

I mentioned that the internet has attained a huge sophistication, we can now live it as our second reality. However, I spoke about how there might be problems when we depend on the internet to figure out things in our lives, I talked about the fakeness and the too many attempts made at the perfection that might hamper our personal and natural growth process.

I went on to talk about how we might find it difficult to fail in peace and how we might languish in the well of blames, especially when we listen externally and never trust ourselves internally to decide our future.

I read some posts by acidyo where he explained that he had been hustling on Reddit and facebook and he took that energy to Hive.

Social media was designed to put out the best side and hide the worst. I know that everyone shits so, I am good knowing no one is posting their shit online.

Very true what you said about failure and success. People are always seeking the cheat code to success but they blame failure on the individual.

This is true. However, it's quite surprising when people cannot create a sort of sift to see through the advantages and disadvantages and create a difference. Being Conscious of this can save one a lot of trouble.

But there's is no cheat code without a downside, the question is if this downside can be totally worth it in the long run..

It's ok to use the Internet as a tool and for entertainment, etc, but to consider it as a replacement for reality is scary... It makes me think of people sitting in their chairs, doing nothing but staring at screens each and every minute of every day 😲

Of course we cannot replace reality with the internet, I only made mention of the fact that it could have a massive influence in our lives and how it impacts most of the decisions we make regarding money as well as other important aspect of our lives as well.
